Every group, religious groups included, has it’s percentage of gutless, cowardly, appeasing pacifist types. The losers mentioned in the article would have minced around the mulberry bush with Hitler if they had their way. Christian in name only is what they are, and nothing more. Pacifism is where you’re too gutless to stand and fight the enemies of God, and sit there while others sacrifice themselves to do so in their place.

The most prestigious organization welcoming Ahmadinejad is the World Council of Churches (WCC). Its politics are so radical that its agenda could easily be endorsed by any Marxist atheist. Celebrating Ahmadinejad's hatred of Israel and America. This is as unhinged as the election is becoming. America is in more danger of self destructing now than it was in the 60's or the 30's.

I grew up in a church that belonged to the MCC. Still does, as far as I know.
My former Sunday School teachers are rolling over in their graves. In spite of the churchs no-war stance I was raised and taught to respect and admire Israel.
