Has Anyone Received This E-Mail?

Have any of you received this e-mail. It's already been sent to me several times today. There is nothing about in hard news, but it's all over the liberal blogs. It smells of urban legend to me. What do you think?

Here it is as I received it:

FYI, lets get this word out.

The story is all over Progressive Talk Radio today about the MCain campaign sending absentee ballot applications to registered democrats or people that have donated to Obama's camapign. These ballots are dilberately misleading and have postage paid return addresses that are for an election clerk that is outside of your city or town. What this will end up doing is either having your vote not counted, or if you return one of these, they will cite you for election fraud, saying that you already voted absentee. These ballots are only being sent out in 'purple states' and this is a big deal.. This is called voter caging, and is a huge problem.

The McCain campaign is stealing this election as we speak. Please get this information out to as many people as you can ,and tell anyone you know who has received one of these ballots that they need to contact their city election clerk or the supervisor of elections immediately. Also call the local media and let them know what is going on.

The main stream media is never going to cover this so we have to depend on our ground campaign to get the word out to our voters.

Looks like a crock to me.Your thoughts?

Hope it’s true. I’d love to see a few hundred deliberate double voters in jail for a couple years.

I hope the have the wit to send ‘em to people who are double registered in more than one state.

Snowbird double (and triple) voters beware!

It is not uncommon for candidates to send absentee ballot applications to registered voters.
The return address would be out side your town most likely because it would be returned to the country clerks office who sends out the absent ballot.

Well, you can't disprove a negative. There is no way for the McCain to demonstrate to the satisfaction of these paranoid idiots that they are not doing this. The Democrats "know fer sure" that the Waskally Wepubwicans are going to steal this election, so no lack of evidence is going to be persuasive.

That said, there is no way on God's Green Earth the McCain campaign would do this. It would be electoral suicide. They would be placing hard evidence of election fraud directly into the hands of people who oppose them. This would not only be dishonorable and criminal, it would be stupid beyond belief.

Someone is overly paranoid! The McCain camp probably sent them out to everyone and then they go back to a central location to be sent out from there to the proper locals. It would cost a forture to make sure each and every one was printed and addressed to the proper palce.

Seems to me that this statement gives it away as a crock. If the McCain guys were actually doing this, you know the MSM would be all over it. I suppose though that the author of this email considers only FOX to be the MSM.

Folks we are being played.

Barak is running a Jihad and we are playing tag.
The democrats always accuse the repubs of doing just
what the dems are doing. The repubs deny.

The when the Dems do it, the repubs cannot complain
the repubs denied. Then it looks like sour grapes.
Add in the MSM to this stragedy and you have victory.

Meh... When was the last time you ever heard of anyone (let alone a Democrat) convicted of voter fraud?

Yea, me neither.

Projection. They are accusing the RNC of what THEY are planning on doing. One feature is if they scream "Republicans are cheating!" often enough, it insulates them from similar accusations.

Same old story. The Dems pull something underhanded, then accuse the Repubs of it as a preemptive strike.

Obama brings up race, then accuses the Repubs of doing it.

The Dems commit voter fraud and accuse the Repubs of it.
