It's their pattern. When Gore lost in 2000, it was because SCOTUS stole the election. When Kerry lost in 2004, it was because he was unfairly Swift-boated. They never look at the real problem - the Dems keep running ever-more-liberal candidates. And the reason they don't look at it is ... they don't want to. They don't want to face the fact that the Dems have to move to the center to win.

Anyone using the election as an excuse to threaten me, my family, or my interests with harm or destruction will have their skulls exploded with a large caliber projectile. It will be a head shot, I will not miss, and I will stand at the ready to repeat until the threat is over.
These not-so-veiled threats are meant to intimidate voters, i.e., in order to avert a race war you should vote for Obama. It could influence some voters, especially independents.

When the pundits are warning about racism aren’t they in fact condemning their own party? Since Republicans are going to vote Republican anyway that only leaves Democrats and Independents as the potential core of racist voters. Do they have so little faith in their own party that they brand them as bigots even before the election? It’s a pretty bizarre line of reasoning they are taking.
