This Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted by telephone September 19-22, 2008, among a random national sample of 1,082 adults, 916 registered voters and 780 likely voters. The survey includes additional interviews with randomly selected African Americans, for a total of 163 black respondents. The added interviews (commonly referred to as an "oversample") were completed to ensure there were enough African American respondents for separate analysis; the group was not over-represented in the reported results from the full sample. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points. Error margins are higher for subgroups. It also was “embargoed” for release AFTER 9/24....the poll was done last week & completed by the 22nd......????? Sounds like the Mason Dixon Florida poll that was on the shelf for 4 or 5 days before it was released....
Polls - how could this one be so different from the others?
I think they conducted this poll like the dems do recounts. They just tried over and over again until they got the desired result.
It is a bogus poll result to help Obama. Clear sign the media knows he is in serious trouble.
Rush has always said that weekend polling is unreliable.
Forget what Rush says, look at the internals. They over sampled Dems by 10% and over sampled blacks.
It should sound fishy I saw the internals....they polled 38 % Dems to 28 % Rep.
Unfortunately, that means that there is going to be no real info until the election, but we shouldn't be taking any comfort from any polls that show us up, as they are nothing more than a medium to spread the meme after ("Obama closing lead!").
Play like you are three points down in the 4th.
Don’t be too concerned. We will be seeing a bunch of these opinion influencing polls prior to the election. This Democrat plan of attack has been used over and over.

Toby this tells us Obama is in serious trouble when they have to fudge a poll this badly to get him a “lead” going into the debate.
Always run as though you are 5 points behind. It is good for the motivation.
I don’t know if that poll is accurate or not. Unfortunately the voters tend to blame Republicans whenever the economy shimmies and shakes, so I would not be surprised if they are ahead by some degree.
Do we ignore it, laugh it off? Or do we ask ourselves what we can do to help? I am going to give a contribution to the RNC today. (If anyone knows of a better group to give it to, let me know.)
I think we all need to redouble our efforts, whatever they may be, to elect McCain/Palin and keep oh-bammy out of the White House.
Whenever I think of an Obamanation win I have premonitions of disaster rolling like thunder across our land.
Just remember the exit polling data from 2004 telling us John Kerry would win. Polls are always jive! Always!

this is about PUSH VOTING,
early voting has started, they need to push the polling booth with biased fraud polling.

If they shout the big lie loud and long enough, (Obama’s win is inevitable), people become discouraged, and lukewarm republicans might not vote. Meanwhile, they plan to bus the dead and never existed to the polls on Nov. 4.
