A 30-year-old Philadelphia policeman was shot and killed yesterday by a wanted felon who fired several times into the fallen officer as he lay wounded on a North Philadelphia street. "He stood over the top of him and killed him," said Homicide Capt. James Clark, who called the killing of Officer Patrick McDonald an "execution." --snip-- The gunman was identified as Daniel Giddings, 27, who was recently released from state prison after serving time for a 1998 robbery and aggravated assault

Not to worry he's already chilling out on a slab
Yes and it should happen EVERY time a cop gets executed like this.
I know,
I meant it as accepting that it should end this way EVERY time a cop gets executed as opposed to turning the killer over to the judiciary.
FRY MUMIA
You betcha! Another hero for the democRats.
More prayers for this officer's family as well as the other officers' families.
I agree ... wholeheartedly.
From what I understand - this dirtbag was recently let out of jail! WHY?!! As the daughter of a former Philly Highway Patrolman - this makes me livid! My prayers are with Officer McDonalds family. May God rest his soul.
My prayers for Officer McDonald, his family, his co-workers and for all who serve to keep us safe and free.
What a craphole that city is.
When you won't or can't send your kids to the public schools you have a major problem in your city. Similar statistics are found in almost all major cities, especially in the Democrat controlled northeastern part of the country.
That is a bit harsh. What do you have to back that up?
Mercer County, New Jersey
The perp is dead. This is not adequate justice but it at least saves the family and friends of the officer from humiliation at the hands of a justice system that would make every excuse for why the killer did what he did, to spare his life.
I hope the family of the killer never know peace again. Even as they will no doubt get an honorary “African-American Purple Heart” for their esteemed martyr did to get another “racist cop” off the street.
These people, their enablers, and their de facto leaders are nothing more than animals. Let’s see Sharpton lead a march to “stop the violence against cops”.
No, rather, people with opinions like mine will be slandered as racists. But I don’t give a damn, if speaking the truth sounds racist, slap me with the title.
Damn ANIMALS.

So did Mumia abu-Jamal. He's still alive and breathing 20 years after he was sentenced to death. Where justice is denied, chaos will prevail.
Very sad.I am glad his fellow officers took out the trash.
What I don't get is why this is so much worse than the other hundred or so murders in Philidelphia so far this year. Is the cop more important than the other people killed. Is his a greater loss to society than say a convenience store clerk who was killed? What about the guy on septa who was murdered by a band of black thugs back in the spring? Was the "city reeling" because of that? At least the cop was armed and had a chance against the criminal. Philadelphia's government continues to aid and abet criminals by keeping the law abiding disarmed and helpless.
Philly and Chicago, two cities with high murder rates.
Two cities that have been dem controlled.
They will use this as a reason that gun control is needed.
Not that they enforce the present laws, just that we need new ones.
No doubt in my mind. Is there any way the Chicago area petitions can be explored? This would be interesting. VERY.
