While Sarah Palin huddled behind closed doors with global leaders, hubby Todd and baby Trig took off for some real fun - on the famous carousel in Central Park. Todd - known as Alaska's "First Dude" - was spotted on the famous ride as he joyfully cradled Trig in his arms. The 5-month-old Trig has Downs syndrome. Daughters Piper, 7, and Willow 13, were on hand....Bristol Palin, 17, didn't make the trip and neither did Track, 18, who was recently assigned to military duty in Iraq. Todd also took his brood to the Statue of Liberty and Ground Zero. On the last stop of the big-city adventure, the proud father from Alaska schlepped the kids to FAO Schwarz, where Piper enjoyed trying on some Princess dresses. Todd bought hot dogs, soft pretzels and ice cream for lunch and they grabbed a seat on a park bench. Upper West Side resident James Soriero captured the "New York moment" with his camera while walking through Central Park. "It was charming seeing them on the carousel. You could see the joy and love. "......there was a mob scene when Sarah Palin returned to the hotel.....Tourists pulled out video cameras to film the governor. "We love you, Sarah!" supporters yelled from behind a barricade.

These are the sort of photos and stories the cause much teeth gnashing among the “image is everything” libs.

An Alaskan carossel would have polar bears, deer, elk, seals, huskies and snow machines. Sounds cool. Build it and they will come...
Photo ops all the way. Or Todd Palin tries to make his Downs baby throw up.
We Democrats would never hurt children like the Palin family does. Because we abort them before this could ever happen.
You can see it, you know its coming.
If Todd ran into a buring building and rescued 10 people before the fire dept could get there, the Dems would say it was on fire in the first place because Repubs are letting the infrastucture fall to ruin.
We never can win so I say to the RINO’s and all the McCain Types STOP TRYING TO DEAL WITH THESE IDIOTS and MOVE ON regardless.
If someone is gonna citisize then give them a REAL REASON to do so.

earth is as proud of his adorable baby as Todd is.

Trig is such a good baby. He never seems to fuss! They, and we, are so lucky!
Todd is also an inspiration to everyone. Great family. Although, if I had been Bristol’s parents, I would have said, Rev. Huckabee....here is my daughter and her boyfriend...lets get them hitched!
