I am continually amazed that these fools talk about eliminating "fossil fuels" when absolutely no viable replacements exist. Not only are there no alternatives to gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, but there is also no infrastructure in place for the millions who heat with fuel oil.

Not only that, but what do we use to replace the petrochemicals (plastics) which are the backbone of our economy and the ashphalt which paves our roads. There aren't even any alternatives on the drawing boards for these items.

Great possibility for TV AD as Obama ran pro-clean coal ads in the primary!!!

Who to you believe?

Obama “helped lead the fight for clean coal..”

Or Biden , “No coal plants here in America,”??/

The answer is neither!

Vote McCain Palin!

May 20, 2008, Washington Post::
Over the past two weeks, Obama’s campaign has run an ad in Kentucky depicting Obama as a strong friend of the coal industry, recounting his efforts on behalf of coal miners in southern Illinois and touting his success in securing $200 million in the federal budget last year for “clean coal” technologies.
Obama “helped lead the fight for clean coal to protect our environment and save good-paying American jobs,” the ad’s narrator said, in language similar to a mailing that the campaign sent out in the state.

Don’t look now. Here comes Hillary.

Only if Obambi comes up with the cash to pay her debt. The last report that I read here stated that he hasn't even paid $1 million of the debt. He is spending money as fast as it comes into his coffers.

U.S. Rep. Rick Boucher, D-9th, sought to get one message across about Obama: “Senator Obama’s a friend of coal.”

I simply do not understand his position on this... we have one quarter of the Earth’s coal reserves. Don’t use them, but China can? WTF?

This alone, *should* be enough to kill any chances that Obama/Biden have of getting elected...should be, but who knows..The Dioms while of warped minds and souls, *do* know how to effectively run their death cult agwenda, and make it sound like they’re the “best intentions”.

Coal power plants kill thousands of U.S. citizens every year. We should switch to nuclear power instead.

To add insult to injury:

Biden: ‘It’s Nice To Be Back In Coal Country’

CASTLEWOOD--In his first visit to Southwest Virginia, Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden, speaking at the United Mine Workers’ annual fish fry here on Saturday, was quick to tout his ties to coal.

“I hope you won’t hold it against me, but I am a hard-coal miner, anthracite coal, Scranton, Pa.,” Biden said. “It’s nice to be back in coal country. … It’s a different accent [in Southwest Virginia] … but it’s the same deal. We were taught that our faith and our family was the only really important thing, and our faith and our family informed everything we did.”

Biden, a U.S. senator from Delaware, told the story of his great-grandfather, a mining engineer who was elected to the state Senate in 1904 and was rumored to be a Molly Maguire, a member of a secret organization tied to union activism and crime in the Pennsylvania coalfields in the 19th century.

“He went out of his way to prove that he wasn’t, and we were all praying that he was,” he said.

Other speakers, including Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, also stumped here for Biden, and praised him while trying to hammer home the point that this marks the third visit to the region by a member of the Democratic presidential ticket in the 2008 election season. Biden’s running mate, presidential candidate Barack Obama, visited Southwest Virginia in June and earlier this month.

U.S. Rep. Rick Boucher, D-9th, sought to get one message across about Obama: “Senator Obama’s a friend of coal.”

Ooooops... there goes Pennsylvania and West Virginia... I guess Joe must’ve already written those states off as a bunch of bitter gun owners clinging to their religion and thereby expendable to O’Bammy’s campaign...

Most people can tell you in great detail what they don’t want, but if you ask them what they want...........there is silence.

It's almost as if the Obama campaign is writing ad material for McCain.

Hillary is not going to book passage on this sinking ship. Bill just endorsed McCain and said Palin was hot.
