Shortly thereafter, the governor offered the commissioner another position in the administration, but he chose to resign instead. The media, Senator French, and the Obama campaign say he was fired... Huh?

Yes, it’s a fact that Gov. Palin offered him another position but he resigned, the RATS choose to ignore it and in fact lie about it.

Furthermore, he was a political appointee. He was not voted into his position nor was he hired. He was appointed to serve at the pleasure of the Governor. When he did not follow her administration's policies, rather that out and out getting rid of him, she had the decency to offer him another position.
Troopergate my @ss! This should be called "how can we twist facts, and try to make Sarah Palin look bad, because we're a bunch of partisan Democrats with the press in our pocketsgate!!
