NEWS FLASH - he is not African American. That title is reserved for Black Americans who decended from slaves.
This is news to me! If what you say is true, then why is Colin Powell referred to as "African-American"? As I recall from reading his autobiography some years ago, his family all emigrated from the West Indies (Jamaica?) within the last generation or two. Hardly a slave descendant!
