A week after a high-profile send-up of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live," the NBC comedy show returned to making fun of the Alaskan governor in a skit where New York Times reporters sought to probe the possibility Palin's husband, Todd, was having sex with the couple's own daughters.
"What about the husband?" asked a Times reporter during a mock assignment meeting for the paper. "You know he's doing those daughters. I mean, come on. It's Alaska."

“Sure. Aren’t we humans an”
???
Ah. But I am not trying to win you over.
I'm defending the right of Americans to have their own opinions about a skit.
Aren’t we humans an imperfect bunch?
Gotta get going. I hope the video becomes available.
“I’m defending the right of Americans to have their own opinions about a skit.”
NO - you are accusing me of intentions that I do not have and attributing meaning to my words that are not there.
The title of the World Net Daily article was highly misleading. When I first saw it I was utterly disgusted by SNL. I wasn’t interested in seeing the skit because I believed it was just another horrid hit piece on Palin. But, after hearing otherwise, I actually viewed the skit (unlike so many who are railing against it), and it was immediately obvious to me that whoever wrote the World Net Daily article either had not taken the time to view the video themselves or was more interested in putting up a sensationalistic headline to attract readers. Folks, the SNL skit was top notch SATIRE. Its target was not Palin or her husband, but the New York Times and its arrogant and elitist big city journalists who think they know everything but are extremely ignorant of the people who live in “less important” and “less valuable” places in the country. In the skit an over-the-top wild accusation is thrown out with no evidence provided whatsoever, but the NYT plans to send a huge team of investigative journalists to Alaska to prove the unsubstantiated claim. Which is exactly the stuff the New York Times is guilty of. The skit was masterful. It was on par with the classic SNL skit about the Clarence Thomas hearings where a bunch of blow-hard senators are grilling Clarence Thomas while indicating their own objectionable proclivities in the process. I know that some of you don’t get satire, but please realize that this skit is a hit piece on the Left. Be happy that millions of people saw it.
“Arent we humans an imperfect bunch?”
I never said we weren’t.
But then again - I never said alot that you seem to think I said.
sick excuse for humor!!!!!
So, we accept insults to our side - as long as the primary target is the media?
Hm....that could be a really good ploy to put any untruth on the air. Well.....the real target was the media.
Maybe a little more thinking is required here.
Great - it was making fun of the NYTimes - but in doing so, it insulted greatly a fine man and his daughters.
It is not okay. It is trash.
Only shows the level the media now dwells in - trash 24/7.
I finally got to see the skit above. A lot of people on FR were telling us how hilarious it was . .
No one in the audience was laughing.
I saw it. You’re wrong.
“No one in the audience was laughing.”
because the audience was full of liberals? just a guess.
To be honest, I turned it off after about 4 minutes. The skit was a dud . . no wonder they don’t want it on their website. Talking about Todd Palin having sex with his children was absolutely deplorable.

What a praise. Now, even filled with trash and insults to OUR CANDIDATES AND THEIR UNDERAGE FAMILIES, it is the best satire pieces you have ever seen.
To us, it shows the level of television, the level of Hollywood, and the level some of our GOP supporters are willing to accept.
What about your candidates? Are they to laugh at talk of incest with their children? Is a husband’s reputation merely to be fodder for a best satire for the public consumption?
I think we need to start understanding evil, understanding the real motives behind those “best pieces of satire” and quit praising the celebrity world no matter what gutter material they put out.
So, they show how outrageous and biased and hateful the anti-Palin crowd are being by using a skit that is outrageous, biased and hateful against Palin’s family to do it?
Something is wrong here. And, something is wrong with the public that is fooled so easily. Wake up and stand up for decency.
because the audience was full of liberals? just a guess.

OK!
I’m going to call and ask them to keep on bashing the NY Times!
