If Barack Obama had his way, Gianna Jessen wouldnt be here today.
In fact, if her biological mothers late-term abortion had gone as planned, Jessen would have died in utero after being burned inside and out by a saline solution. But today, she is a healthy 31-year-old -- and she wants voters to know the truth about Obamas stance on the Born Alive Infants Protection Act.
Were not talking about abortion. Were talking about living, breathing babies who have survived an abortion and need medical care, Jessen explained to HUMAN EVENTS. Obama doesnt think they should get it.
Jessen appears in a new campaign ad sponsored by BornAliveTruth.org. In it, she says, Four times, Barack Obama voted to oppose a law to protect babies left to die after a failed abortion. Senator Obama, please support born-alive infant protections. I'm living proof these babies have a right to live.
BornAliveTruth.org was co-founded by Jessen and Jill Stanek, a former nurse who discovered her hospital, Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois, was leaving aborted babies to die in soiled utility closets.

I guess you haven't heard about all the bishops who came out against Pelosi and Biden. It also applies to Obama. It also applies to all of us! (Supposedly 55 bishops have spoken out against abortion; this list contains fewer than that, but has lots of links to actual words.
Updated: American Bishops who have spoken against Pelosi
Here is the complete list of American bishops who have responded to Nancy Pelosi's comments so far:
-
-
... Bishop James Conley, his auxiliary, joined him
-

-
... Bishop William Lori of Bridgeport, chairman of the Committee on Doctrine, joined him

Bishop David Zubik of Pittsburgh and...

-
... Bishop Oscar Cantu, his auxiliary bishop, has joined him

Notes:
-
Previous #23 has been removed. Bishop Joseph Gossman of Raleigh, NC is actually the bishop emeritus, and the new bishop, Michael Burbidge has not, to my knowledge, made a personal statement.
-
Previous #16 has also been removed, it was an erroneous duplication of current #13.
-
#26 was added September 10th, although he published his column September 6th

gezzzzzzzzzzzz....do your homework before you post! How old was Obama in 1977? Was he actively trying to promote infanticide back then? For a claim that "if a certain person had his way, a certain event would not have occurred" to be meaningful, it is necessary that the person's opposition to the event predate the actual occurrence thereof. I see nothing to suggest that is true with regard to Obama and the birth of Ms. Jesson.
It is certainly true that there are many children alive today who, if Barack Obama had his way, would have been killed. Ms. Jesson, however, was almost certainly born before Barack Obama had any relevant thoughts on the subject.

Obama voted FOUR TIMES against the Born Alive Protection Act...
see if you can wrap your brain around that.
If you can't; that's your problem.
Now quit bothering me.

35% of all abortions are performed on African American women, yet only 12% of the total population is African American.
This is close to genocide.
I wish we could find a way to get even a small percentage of the African American vote over to the Republican side.

Obama voted FOUR TIMES against the Born Alive Protection Act... see if you can wrap your brain around that. What does that have to do with the life or death of someone born thirty-one years ago?
The specific claim that was made was "If Barack Obama had his way, Gianna Jessen wouldnt be here today." What are you suggesting Barack Obama would have done, had he been able, that would have made that specific person not be alive today?
It is certainly true that if Barack Obama had his way, many children who are alive today wouldn't be. But that isn't what's claimed. What's claimed is that a specific person born thirty-one years ago wouldn't be alive if Barack had his way. While Barack may be a baby-killer, I see no reason to believe he would have killed that baby in 1977.
