Democrat Candidates for National Office are now writing material for Saturday Night Live. a scetch that is not only unethical, but portrays McCain as a BORDERLINE RACIST!!

We should DEMAND that Limbaugh or DENNIS MILLER now be allowed to write a scetch regarding THE HOLY MESSIAH...

This scetch is 4:42 long, and EXACTLY the same amount of time should be given to a REPUBLICAN written skit! Imagine the digs we could get in on "The One" in that amount of time!!!!

Or is NBC now OPENLY BIASED against Republicans?

A little off topic, but Drudge seems to be moving away from Obama and toward Palin.

I really like the look of his page tonight. Even that bit about “Dems complain about McCain’s 11 cars” matched by Obama showing off his plane.

The Palin crowds, the California effect. It looks great!

SNL has had enough Republican alumni and Lorn Michaels himself is a friend and supporter of McCains(IIRC) so SNL should hopefully give in and do a bad Obama skit, perhaps written by Adam Sandler or something.

BTW I just checked Michaels has donated to McCain, and also Al Franken

The POINT is that they allowed a DEMOCRAT Party Candidate for NATIONAL OFFICE to write (or HELP write) a skit against a Republican.

THAT IS BIASED. OPEN AND OUT for everyone to see.

If that jerk was involved no doubt it was NOT FUNNY!

That guy is NOW a hack, and my guess is that that is what he will be in his next "career".

Al Franken, helped craft the opening sketch mocking John McCain...

this guarantees that it will not be funny...

I would describe it as a $1+ million dollar donation from Seth Meyers up through Lorne Michaels and the GE suits given to the Franken campaign. In direct and blatant violation of the McCain-Feingold campaign finance laws.

A properly constructed compliant by a brilliant lawyer to the FEC could net the lawyer some serious national exposure.

Don't ever buy GE!

I bought a brand new GE fridge in 2006 and I've already spent less $100 what I paid for it in repairs.

My local, reliable home-repair guy (who has been here twice) even told me, Don't buy GE!

Rush has an unfair funny advantage over Al Franken & SNL

Settle down.

This is an entertainment show, not a news program. They are not bound by equal time requirements.

You don’t like the content of the show? Don’t watch it.

It’s a matter of freedom of speech. Sometimes free speech, like the McCain sketch, is annoying or offensive. But being offensive in America is not against the law. The McCain skit wasn’t any more offensive than what you can see on many of the late-night shows.

By ranting and overreacting, you are giving Franken exactly what he loves.

Quit letting him yank your strings.

The Palin sketch of the week before was funny. I’m convinced the 2000 SNL Bush/Gore skits cost Gore precious votes by portraying him as a windbag.

It’s comedy. Relax. If you don’t find it funny (I didn’t), get over it.

Right......
And if ANYTHING like this from the same SNL show had been said about OBAMA’s daughters, Rock Center would currently be in riot-caused flames....

“What about the husband?” asked a Times reporter during a mock assignment meeting for the paper. “You know he’s doing those daughters. I mean, come on. It’s Alaska.”

The assignment editor for the Times, portrayed by actor James Franco, responded: “He very well could be. Admittedly, there is no evidence of that, but on the other hand, there is no convincing evidence to the contrary. And these are just some of the lingering questions about Governor Palin.”

There is bias, and there is OPEN bias and hatred, this is THE LATTER. TODD PALIN should be the one to come out SCREAMING about this, and NBC’s OBVIOUS double standard.

It was the first sketch of the show, and it was tedious.

I think most people had the same reaction to it as I did.

It was overdramatizing John McCain’s monotone speech pattern, and was about as funny as seeing Al Franken wearing diapers.

NOW, the other sketch, about the twits at the NYT, that was funny!

But Franken had nothing to do with the NYT sketch.

Perhas not, but that does not change the fact that they allowed a DEMOCRAT candidate for National Office to write, influence a skit. the NYT sketch just adds insult to injury....

The McCain Campaign should be HANGING these people by thier politicly correct petards for this, combined with MSNBC’s OPEN bias, that GE has already had to deal with.

I took this line as a slam against the media that has been coming up with absurd accusations. I think SNL was blasting the journalists not Palin.
