Post-convention swing state polls are tipping toward Sen. John McCain, the TV pundits are waxing about "The Palin Factor," and Sen. Barack Obama's California supporters are freaking out about a race Democrats were uncommonly confident about only a month ago.

Thanks!
Just want to make it clear to non-Californians; when they say that Northern California is "one of the nations most liberal regions," they mean the tree-hugging, dope smoking, hippy infested redwood coast north of San Francisco. Most of Northern California is as conservative as Wyoming, but unfortunately, just as sparsely populated.
You know HELLywood is all about make believe...and that’s what it’s all about for CA...make believe...60,000+ BE VERY AFRAID!!!
There is no enthusiasm in California for Obama. No bumper stickers or yard signs. Every Democrat I’ve spoken to says they will not vote for Obama.
Just to further clarify, California is conservative, provided you are more than 100 or so miles from the coast.
I think we are approching critical mass for being a down ticket lifter.
How many days before the MSM starts panicking about losing the house?
I’ve seen scores, if not a hundred of 0bama bumper stickers locally.
Gave a big thumbs up to the first McCain sticker I’d ever seen, just last Friday.
They are already there.
*snrk*
No sightings in the largest county. I’m in the Inland Empire area.
which had more people:
barakopolis in denver or palin in florida?
I read Palin canceled a rally there - very sad. She needs to go there and draw another 70k. It helps just to show she can get numbers there. Spend a little cash there, give it a shot, who knows what could happen. I mean, California elected a republican (I know, but still - he has an R next to his name). With the Terminator showing up, if he possibly could, it could put Cali up for grabs.
styrofoam columns?
Sent off an absentee voter registration form to good old San Fran last week. Sounds like my vote just might count! I didn’t give a party affiliation, so maybe they’ll take a chance and send me two or three ballots. Ha. Ha.
Without looking, guess where I am.
Extra hint, I’ve seen a car with several Code Pink stickers...
What cracks me up is that half of them are on Caddies and Mercedes. I always make a point of getting in front of them so they can see my McCain sticker. You have to find fun wherever you can.
Have to update to a McCain / Palin sticker.

Poll: Racial prejudices steer some white Democrats away from Obama
09/21/2008 12:00:16 PM PDT · by markomalley · 43 replies Minneapolis (Red) Star-Tribune ^ | 9/21/2008 | RON FOURNIER and TREVOR TOMPSON>p> Deep-seated racial misgivings could cost Barack Obama the White House if the election is close, according to an AP-Yahoo News poll that found one-third of white Democrats harbor negative views toward blacks many calling them "lazy," "violent" or responsible for their own troubles.
It would be nice if they start sending Palin out to help Congressional candidates, and have her asking the voters for a Republican Congress. They also should demonize Pelosi, and run against her 9 percent favorable rating.
Sarah may single handedly will give us the house and maybe even a gain in the Senate.
