True...and I’m positive he doesn’t already have some. I like my carbon harder and in a lovely setting surrounded by sapphires.

This whole farce somewhat resembles the trading and speculation in tulips during the 17th century except that tulips do actually exist. I've got some greenhouse gas stock for you to auction you witless morons (thanks to that 3-bean burrito last night). I fart in your general direction

Dear God, help us! Help us take down the crooks perpetrating this scam, and help us to teach people to know better than fall for it.

Man, I wish I’d thought of this scam. Taking money from stupid people is normally unethical, but taking money from stupid people who would otherwise wreck the country with their money sounds downright heroic to me.

Best. Mission. Statement. EVER.

I say we should go get a piece of the action. Take the idea away from Gore and run with it, like Ray Kroc did to the McDonald brothers.

The thing that bothers me is that the corporations are jumping into this green nonsense lock stock and barrel. Every damned commercial these days is hawking some green program or another.

The corporations will be throwing funds at this. And those funds will be paid by us in the way of increased (or not reduced as they could have been) fees.

I love to see folks just ignore these green idiots, but no we’re being sold out lock stock and barrel by many public entities.

American Express has come up with some hair brained idea to give away money to a special cause. Card holders can sign on and vote for which special cause they want them to support.

Where does all this money come from?

Good grief, citizens of this nation are masochists.

Raise my taxes, please. Charge us more fees to take care of the green problems, please. Take our money and support special causes, please.

I should feel warm and fuzzy. Ain’t happenin’.

Throw 50 billion at it 1st thing Monday morning, then Tues. morning, then Wed. mourning, then Thursday morning, take Fri. off, too much stress on your brain, if you got one.

Wonder if I could draft up some official looking “carbon credit” certificates and put them on E-bay?

They're already selling carbon credits on eBay. Only one slight problem...

No one's buying them.

Purchase carbon credits to offset your carbon footprint

This is wonderful news!

Hey NE companies, you can move to Colorado, Wyoming and various central states and not have this illogical and mythical expense.

any business that would buy this waste of money should be investigated immediatly for stockholder fraud.

Perhaps we should have an ebay auction for “hapiness”.

Took care of climate change at my other post, now I’ll go after global warming. Any body got 600 billion to spare?
