Oh, well, as long as it’s been rumored his great-grandfather was one of them then there’s no question he’s one of the fold.

How can this puke get away with saying these incredibly stupid, patronizing things? Biden isn’t even “blue collar” background, but was the son of a usually well-off sometime government apparatchik and businessman who lost his job for about a year, during which time Biden had to stop going to the exclusive private school to which his family sent him. Or maybe he didn’t even have to stop attending the school - I don’t recall the details right now. But this pandering and fake down-home stuff that he does is disgusting, and a lie to boot.

Question to Biden by George Snuffleupagus:

"You were asked if he's ready, and you said you think he can be ready but right now I don't believe he is, the Presidency is not something that lends itself to on the job training"

Biden's Response:

"I think I stand by the statement"

So JOE!?!?!?

Were you lying then, or are you lying NOW?!?

Gotta love how these two clowns have to go back generations to connect with the regular folks... Obama’s Grandfather was in “Patton’s Army” ya know. And Biden’s Great Grandfather was a dang coalminer.

Palin IS a NRA member. Palin’s husband IS a union member. McCain IS a POW veteran.

He left Scranton when he was ten years old. Do they really let nine-year olds work the mines?

“I think he’s maybe not as good a friend as we’d like to have, but I think all of the candidates will have to support clean-coal technology,” Altizer said. “I keep hoping whoever gets the election, they’ll have the opportunity to learn about coal and they’ll be a good friend.”

Obama and Biden must be taking the miners for stupid. If they're not a friend to the coal industry today they never will be. It was Obama the proposed getting the whole electric industry away from ALL fossil fuels and that includes coal.

Isn’t it the Dems who have fought for years to make coal a bad word?
No you can not use coal. It is dirty.

“As we Christians say, they will have an epiphany.”

Forgive him Lord...for he apparently knows not what a patronizing nincompoop he is.

The next time Old Joe tells the truth, it will be the first time.

Apparently, ethics and honesty were not high on subjects taught at his VERY expensive school in Delaware. Either that, or he skipped those classes to watch his favorite football team - the Eagles, no the Steelers, no the Packers, What the h&ll is the name of this town anyway?

Biden left “coal country” 55 years ago when he was 10 years old. Biden may not be aware of the fact that the coal fired plant in VA is very controversial as far as the environmentalists are concerned. The Sierra Club and their allies have tried to shut it down.

Sen. Joseph Biden in his own words: “I’m kind of sick and tired of Republicans talking to me about how much they love the military. My dad used to say, don’t tell me what you value. Show me your budget, and I’ll tell you what you value.”

Sen. Joseph Biden, the Democratic candidate for vice president, released his tax returns for the years 1998 to 2007. The returns revealed that in one year, 1999, Biden and his wife Jill gave $120 to charity out of an adjusted gross income of $210,979. In 2005, out of an adjusted gross income of $321,379, the Bidens gave $380. In nine out of the ten years for which tax returns were released, the Bidens gave less than $400 to charity; in the tenth year, 2007, when Biden was running for president, they gave $995 out of an adjusted gross income of $319,853.
