Will Prejudice Trump Economy For Voters? (most pathetic attempt in playing the race card)

(CBS/AP) How America votes could come down to the economy, and that could be especially true in many of the so-called battleground states where voters have been hit hard economically.

But a new AP-Yahoo News poll shows that race could also play a big role in how some voters make their choice - and this may not bode well for Barack Obama.

According to the poll released Saturday, a little over one-third of white Democrats and independents agreed with at least one negative adjective about blacks, and they are less likely to vote for Obama than those who don't hold such views.

"There are a lot fewer bigots than there were 50 years ago, but that doesn't mean there's only a few bigots," said Stanford University political scientist Paul Sniderman, who helped analyze the exhaustive survey.

It is un-American to change your name to a muslim name and run for President trying to use your skin color as a weapon against your opponents!! And by the way words of support from Iran and Libya prove you are unfit for the Presidency beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Speaking as a born & bred Southroner- the Island I grew up on was 33% black, the city I live in is 63% black-- I've never seen a more blatant, racist, bigoted campaign in my life- and I go back to Truman.

And yep, it's the Democrat Party and their handmaidens in the Media ( but, I repeat myself, don't I? ) doing it.

You can read snippets of my writing about race here:

-The Last Time I saw Chippy...--

and here:

-Hazel's Cafe--

But this graphic sums up this campaign:

Evidently, the Democrats initially thought race would make Obama invulnerable. Now that he is revealing himself to be an empty vessel, they are trying to use race it to force him down our throats.

Will prejudice trump the economy?

1. I thought this election was going to be about Iraq. 2. A month ago the "economy" was all about the price of a gallon of gas. Now it's about Fannie Mae, "affordable" health care and how many houses John McCain owns. 3. If "prejudice" is such a big hurdle, why didn't the Democrats nominate Hillary to insure that the "issues" they both care about?

It seems like the members of the DBM are not only trying to move the goal posts, they're trying to move the election to a different stadium. With their carefully crafted polls showing the results they want ("Obama in above the margin of error lead"), why are they whining about a few honkey's who won't get on the Messiah's bandwagon? I'm betting that with their direct pipeline to Hussein's pollsters, the Media types are seeing something they don't like (not to mention helping to create the "spin" that will sustain the Democrats if they drop another "gimme" election).

Should have read, "that the issues they both care about get a fair hearing".
