Oh, That Joe! (No. 14 in a Series) - Biden Says Obama Won't Take His Beretta

Sen. Barack Obama better not mess with his running mate Joe Biden's guns...or else.

In an out-of-nowhere attempt to re-assure a southwestern Virginia labor crowd about gun owners' rights, Biden -- who regularly scores "F" ratings from the National Rifle Association -- warned Obama that if "he tries to fool with my Beretta, he’s got a problem."

I’m thinking reversed image, if you look at the scope the windage turret is on the left side as well. I’ve never sen a scope with the windage turret on the left.

BTW, why do scopes reticules always use vertical and horizontal lines? I would think that lines at a 45 degree angle would be better for many applications. For example, if the ground is dark and one is shooting at a target slightly below the horizon, the horizontal line on the reticule may be hard to see. If the lines in the reticule were at 45 degree angles, however, one would easily be able to see two lines in the sky whose point of intersection would be the scope's point of aim.

If Obama’s own running mate is worried about losing gun rights under Obama, shouldn’t we?

I think the lefthanded image was for composition purposes.

IIRC, the rifle is a Mauser Model 660 from about forty years back. The unusual bolt action was designed for quick barrel change in a variety of calibers. Too radical, it didn’t sell very well and was discontinued.

Anyway, Obama is a gungrabber and is not to be trusted.

"NRA will not allow Barack Obama to revise history," Chris W. Cox, NRA's chief lobbyist, said in a statement. "He has supported bans on handguns and semi-automatic firearms, and he has voted to ban possession of many shotguns and rifles commonly used by hunters and sportsmen across America. And we will remind voters every single time he lies."

Barack Obama went to a San Francisco fundraiser and said Joe Biden was “clinging” to his guns.

Maybe he was talking about a BERET he uses to cover his plugs on a cold Delaware day.

"but Biden will win on knowledge."

Knowledge of what exactly?

I have dog crap in my back yard that has more "knowledge" than he does.

I wouldbet that I could teach that dog crap to jump through a flaming hoop before Joe biden could get enough "knowledge" to be an effective Vice-Pres.

Levin called Biden “the Ted Knight of politics” last week.
Hilarious...and sadly true.

ROTFLOL!

So good old Joe can have a handgun, but the residents of D.C., Philly and NYC can't have a gun?

Let's see. D.C., Philly and NYC have large Black populations, but the dude from Lilly White Delaware won't let them protect their families with a firearm.

Come to think of it, the Black Messiah won't let those same people protect their families either.

"I have always believed that the Second Amendment protects the right of individuals to bear arms, but I also identify with the need for crime-ravaged communities to save their children from the violence that plagues our streets through commonsense, effective safety measures," he said.

When it comes to a gun, you must fight gunfire with gunfire. The only commonsense, effective safety measure is the ability and the weaponry to shoot back.
