I heard the judge on Fox News talk about it.

Believe it or not, when the FBI came to serve the warrants to search their computers ( his roommates were somehow involved - at least to the extent that they were aware he was planning to do it) they were having a party.

According to the judge 200 emails were hacked.

As the FBI came in, they ran out of the room trying to hide.

The judge says that the jail time for this type of offense is much less than snail mail (5 years for each piece of mail stolen). He said he would probably get no jail time.

He also said that Congress has not caught up with criminalizing this type of crime like it should be.
