Report: Organizers of Iran rally threatened with loss of tax-exempt status if they invited Palin

Name ‘em and shame ‘em. Seriously. Fox News and the Journal should be all over this. Judging from the number of Democrats quoted in the piece as being upset about it, there’s no shortage of people willing to leak. Let’s find out who, precisely, decided that inviting a prominent Republican to a nonpartisan rally might warrant a visit from the IRS.

And then, in the words of a famous cult leader, let’s get in their faces.

Sources tell CBS 2 HD that a decision to disinvite Palin from the high profile rally after Clinton pulled out in a huff came as the result of intense pressure from Democrats.

“This is insulting. This is embarrassing, especially to Gov. Palin, to me and I think it should be to every single New Yorker,” Assemblyman Dov Hikind, D-Brooklyn, told CBS 2 HD.

Sources say the axes were out for Palin as soon as Sen. Clinton pulled out because she did not want to attend the same event as the Republican vice presidential candidate…

The groups sponsoring the rally against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speaking at the UN were reportedly told, “it could jeopardize their tax exempt status” if they had Palin and not Clinton or Democratic VP candidate Joe Biden on hand…

“It’s an absolute shame that this has happened,” Hikind said. “To threaten organizations … to threaten the Conference of Presidents that if you don’t withdraw the invitation to Gov. Palin we’re going to look into your tax exempt status … that’s McCarthyism.”…

“I’m absolutely appalled at the behavior of the Democrats,” said Bob Kunst of Defenders.net. “I’m a Democrat and for the first time in my life I’m going to vote Republican. I can’t take it anymore.”

When all else fails, lie lie and lie some more.

This is nothing more than a lie to cover their cowardly behaviour. Putting politics before a statement about Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Don’t think that this is an isolated instance. These same people are intimidating people all over the country in various ways.

Just when you think they can’t go any lower...they (Democrats) create a new bottom to sink to!

Pure thuggishness.

And the worst of it is that it’s all about Hillary, just when we were feeling some sympathy for her she has a last-minute hissy about sharing the stage with Sarah, almost certainly because she might get unfavorably compared to the SNL skit of last week.

I am glad that Sarah is actually deigning to point out things like these.

Damn, it only took 30 years of constant lies and abuse! Welcome to reality Bob.

How many black churches will lose their tax exempt status for their blatantly black racist championing of Obama from their pulpits and preaching anti American and anti Constitutional Black Liberation Theology dogma?

Answer, NONE....

The Democrat controlled Congress is held hostage by the black racists of the Congressional Black Caucus....

The ONLY way to fight this black racism - is with White Self Preservation......
I would like to see the turmoil created by the suggestion of creating a Congressional White Caucus...

And to call these people what they are - Black Supremacists.

"The Democrat controlled Congress is held hostage by the black racists of the Congressional Black Caucus...."

Don't agree with either the premise or the answer you pose for it.

Dems are not 'hostage' to the Black Caucus. They enable the black caucus, they benefit from its frequently absurd antics and ability to stifle the opposition; but they're not hostage.

The dems are not hostage to gay rights, animal rights, abortion rights, or red wood liberation movements either; again, they encourage and benefit from them.

They benefit from all divisive social and political cults within the country...even those who, like your Congressional White Caucus, isolate themselves by villainising others.

Nonetheless, you are correct so far as you suggest removal of tax free status from any church that steps into the political ring; should happen as a default operation the instant someone steps up and says "vote for _________"

After reflection.......I find myself agreeing with you.
Like all other “radicals” - the BCC has been a tool of the Democrats....

The Democrats have become no more than an amalgam of all the “scrap” material in our society......

In the later primaries Hillary started to look likeable in comparison to Barack...at least she was less vitriolic in public utterances than Obama. But the Clintons come out of Arkansas mafia-style politics and can't change their stripes.

Hillary may be thinking ahead to 2012 already...worrying about Palin as her potential opponent if Barack loses in 2008.

John Bolton was on FNC last night saying he didn't there was a partisan motive behind the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations rescinding the invitation to Sarah Palin. He seems to have a lot of prior experience with them, but it still didn't sound very convincing--maybe he wants to stay on good terms with them so won't say anything negative.

I remember the name Dov Hikind from 1988. Al Gore lined him up as a supporter for the New York Democratic primary—I guess that was supposed to help Al Gore win a large share of the Jewish vote and then roll on to the nomination. Somehow it didn’t work and the Democrats wound up nominating a Lesbian-American instead.

Here is the shear HYPOCRISY about the whole affair!!!! and the organizers should be ashamed for letting the Dims manipulate the NON-PARTISAN/BI-PARTISAN original status into a “partisan” issue, if only Palin showed up.

Hypocrites, because the same libs demanding Palin be uninvited - because, without a leading Dim there as well it is “partisan” - are the same libs that asked Hillary be invited and then asked Hillary to un-invite herself; artificially creating the “partisan” status of Palin being there.

They sought for Hillary to “un-invite herself” so as to create the “partisan” issue with which they could ask that Palin be un-invited.

No mystery. The liberal mind/disease runs on hypocrisy.

Why would anyone waste sympathy on Hillery? She’s an unhappy and nasty person. What’s more, she has a agenda she cannot reveal because it would prevent her from being elected dog catcher. Hence, she is an unhappy and nasty liar.

Besides, Hillery herself, keeps telling us how tough she is. No siree bob, I’ve got more positive things to do than feel sorry for her.
