"At a recent rally in the swing state of Virginia, she was greeted with crowds chanting 'Sarah, Sarah, Sarah' as though she was a cross between Madonna and the Pope."
Sarah Palin is a woman of the people.
I suggest to my MIL the other day that, instead of reading book about the Royals, Kennedy’s and Elvis, she might try Sarah Palin.
The audacity of reporting... another shred of hope for the UK. God help them.

Broward Democrats poke fun at Sarah Palin

Get a room full of Democrats, and they can’t resist poking fun at Sarah Palin.
It’s not exactly the message that the Barack Obama campaign wants to exude preferring to act as if the Republican vice presidential candidate doesn’t get them ruffled but Palin is just too rich a target for loyal Democrats.
At the Broward Democratic Party’s monthly meeting Tuesday night, it started right at the beginning with the invocation, delivered by Mike Moskowitz, the state committeeman for the county.
He called for a “blessing on the elk and moose in Alaska who have been decimated by Sarah Barracuda” and included a prayer that Palin doesn’t turn her sights on the squirrels in Washington, D.C.
“We pray that her journey takes her across the bridge to nowhere,” he said.
“Feminists like to claim that if women ruled the world, there would be no more wars.”
Oh, that’s right. Maggie Thatcher, Indira Ghandi and Golda Meir weren’t REALLY women...
Sarah is a far better person than that British slut.
bttt
Please. Don’t compare her to Thatcher, but don’t compare her to Diana either.
A, she’s not dysfunctional like Diana;
B, she’s not THAT popular;
C, her drivers aren’t high.
We have now achieved near 100% amongst the wife and my friends ... They are all going to vote McCain ... Some were Democrats before Palin showed up.
What are you doing for the McCain-Pailn ticket. Get in their faces —— LOL.
Feminists are ignorant of history if they think women leaders do not participate in wars. Queen Elisabeth I, Golda Meier, Margaret Thatcher, et. al. were just as willing to go to war as male leaders were.
When my son passed away as governor of Alaska...she sent a condolence letter...this was before her nomination. Jeremy died in June from a freak accident by a rogue wave in Australia (jeremyearnshaw.com)....anyway, she has my vote!

A good article. WHile this author cannot resist taking shots at Sarah and we conservatives, for the most part it was alright, unlike most of the pap that dribbles out of Brit media (almost as bad as our own).
This could be a record turnout election, with one canidate carrying 0 of the 57 states.
Note to the world.....We love our straight talking, gun toting, Iraq war supporting women! Dont mess with these women.........
