Sun`s conveyor belt at a record low. Solar wind at 50 year low, and 62 consecutive days without sunspots.

A theory says that cosmic rays influence our climate. High solar wind means less cosmic rays hitting the atmosphere which leads to warmer climate. Lower solar wind means more cosmic rays which leads to a cooler climate.

If this announcement does have anything to say about global warming, I would guess that they would say the lower solar wind over the last 50 years puts the cosmic ray theory to rest.
