Shall we analyze the statement a little bit and perhaps you will understand?

Maher states that he believes Americans are "too f***ing dumb" because not enough are voting for Obama.

I say that his success proves to my satisfaction that indeed...there are a lot of dumb americans

He identifies these dumb americans as those who choose not to vote for Obama

I identify these dumb americans as Bill Maher fans and supporters who enable him to make a living by saying such things.

I said it proves it to "my satisfaction"

Is it your contention that I am not satisfied with my opinion in this matter?

How would you possibly know?

Shall we analyze the statement a little bit ….

OK. Let’s. Maher states that he believes Americans are "too f***ing dumb" because not enough are voting for Obama.

Back to the firing range, oh mighty sniper. You missed that one, too. THAT is not what he said. What he said, according to the interview quote in the article was: MAHER: “… But I, I honestly do not trust Americans to do the right thing or make the right choices. They're just too fucking dumb. I'm sorry. I know I'm a bad guy for saying that.”

YOU SAID: The fact that he makes a living doing what he does proves his point to my satisfaction.

Any way you slice it, tiny one, THAT is a defense of his statement, as HE made it.

I say that his success proves to my satisfaction that indeed...there are a lot of dumb Americans

He identifies these dumb americans as those who choose not to vote for Obama No he didn’t -- he did not in any way qualify his statement that, “I honestly do not trust Americans to do the right thing or make the right choices. They're just too fucking dumb.” I identify these dumb americans as Bill Maher fans and supporters who enable him to make a living by saying such things. You, and most ofthe rest of us might, BUT he did not identify them in that statement.

I said it proves it to "my satisfaction"

That is true, and -- like it or not, THAT, as it stands, is an endorsement of what he actually said.

Is it your contention that I am not satisfied with my opinion in this matter?

How would you possibly know?

I don’t. And I’m not sure you do -- because you claim things that are not true and then make a fauz argument on them. That‘s pathetic.

I’m not real sure whether to LMAO or feel sorry for you
