If you think about it, they attempted actual disinformation on election day as well, saying that exit polls showed Kerry would win. Some of them were so brazen they started naming states like North Carolina in the mix, implying a Bush meltdown was coming.

Great point — the only REAL “troopergate” in our national life has been the genuine scandal surrounding scumbag Bill Clinton, which virtually none of the MSM would touch except to sneer at conservatives who thought it mattered.....
Now the MSM is trying to cook up its own farcical “troopergate” to derail a terrific Republican candidate, and the only “there” there is that a R. Governor fired an insubordinate and dishonest cabinet member for failing to behave responsibly as part of the Governor’s executive team. Said fired (in)subordinate also happened to be a spouse abuser who refused to fire a child abuser and drunk who did not belong on the State Trooper force.....

But as a young Democrat myself, I noticed that Kennedy could cheat on his wife and Ted Kennedy could drown a girl and Wallace could be a useful racist, and everything was cool as long as you were a Democrat. But any, absolutely any scandal involving Republicans was to be waved like a bloody shirt, covered so repetitively you'd want to break your TV.
These are unhappy, shameless, amoral people who believe they are monarchs helping elect monarchs. Many of them have hands in the public til. The media declares what is true and what isn't, what is newsworthy and what isn't and roots for their favorite team fanatically, cheating like wrestling (or NFL) referees.

If McCain wins it will be not so much for who or what Palin is but for what she forced liberals to express. Those precious independents who will swing this election will look on the Obamoids and shrink back in disgust.
Yeah, I remember when they used to alternate the whole “red” and “blue” electoral map thing. Now the dammed democrats, socialists, and communists decided they should be represented by the color blue (deceiving bastards) and true Americans be represented by the commie color red; nice, huh? I was a staunch Anti-McCain guy, and the night before the Palin pick I was on here arguing against Old John with fellow freepers. I knew Palin was the real deal the minute I saw her, and commend McCain for the wisdom of this choice.
The fact that the press is so rabid and unhinged shows her effectiveness and danger to them. Quayle was a darn fine senator and a decent vice president, and they hammered him into dust before he had a chance to become known. That's what this is about, to insure that even if elected, she'll be so cowed and gun shy and wounded, that she can't fight their elitist cabal.
I like the way the document is dated as “6-19-08” at the top of the form (presumably the date the request form was filled in), but date next to the approval signature is one day earlier “6-18-08”.
Plus their is no indication on the form for the specific purpose of the trip except to meet with Murkowski.
And even Fox went right along with it. To be represented by red every single election and have all these people say “red state” and “turn it red” bugs me to no end. I remember the “red menace.”
But it shows you what the media can do and how fast they can make something part of the dialogue when they unite. And they are usually pretty united. We should all e-mail Fox and tell them we want to be blue.
