WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- The FBI and Secret Service are investigating a second apparent hacking of Republican U.S. vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's personal e-mail account.

Well at least they asked first . 2 min. later the feds were into their server. So , no matter..
the secret service should just say this is for China, THEN yahoo will jump to cooperate.
Some AP and Yahoo execs need to be frog marched downtown and made an example of.
Then Yahoo should be shut down.
If this is true then I'm cancelling my DSL through ATT Yahoo.
Alaska activist Andree McLeod has filed a Freedom of Information Act request seeking disclosure of e-mail messages from another Yahoo account Palin used.
IMHO this is a coordinated political hit, folks. Since at least one felony has been committed, I think it could rise to the level of conspiracy (plus obstruction of justice by the AP and others).
RICO time . . .
This could be as big as Watergate, if some U.S. Attorney decides to run with it.
Actually, I would hope that Yahoo -would- refuse to cooperate until a properly executed search warrant is delivered.
WHAT did Obama know, and WHEN did he know it?

You cannot force someone to disclose personal emails under the FOI act, is this person stupid.
I think I agree with that statement. However, I am not convinced that we have an “expectation of privacy” in such a medium.
I do not know, but I would also wonder if the “fear of destruction of evidence” comes into play as an exception, here.
Admittedly, computer records and such are not my strong suit and I have never given this issue any thought. You could be right, I’m just not sure.
The fact that email accounts are password-protected shows that there is an expectation of privacy.
Over at the History Channel forum a poster is claiming someone from the McCain campaign gave Palin email address out so it could be hacked in.
Crazy!

Must be the same guy who proposed that Rove typed the Rathergate memo......
Anybody could have Palin’s email address just like we have mailing address on our mail boxes.
It takes a thief to break into your account just like a thief breaks into your house.
I don’t think the poster realize...this is a serious crime.
Immaturity is running the Obama campaign.
