Som McCain finally goes on the attack and points finger and names names.

But, he ends with that pathetic statement above? That's a Washington talking point which is often used by people from all political political persuasions.

We have known that a lot of the problems with our economy stem from government corruption or government control or regulations which very often make matters worse. So, why that weak statement?

Why not, something that bites harder, like:

The people in the inner circle of the Obama campaign are directly responsible for the Freddie and Fannie failures. If Obama's judgment is that that kind of people are who are going to help solve our problems, then Obama himself is part of the problem. It's people like Obama that created the mess with Freddie and Fannie and most of what ails our economy. If we are going to get this country right again, then we absolutely cannot afford someone like Obama leading us to more and bigger failure.

Unfortunately, term limits would require a constitutional amendment, and the professional pols of both parties in DC will never craft one and send it to the states for ratification. Term limits were a plank in the Contract With America in 1994. They went nowhere even in that new, fresh Republican congress. They have zero chance now or in the foreseeable future.

Barak Obama says that he was responible for passing the recent economic stimulus bill. But Barak Obama knows he wasn’t and, like his term in the Illinois State Legislature, he could not even be bothered to show up to vote on the stimulus package he now claims to have sponsored.

John McCain warned about the collapse of mortgage lenders Fannie May and Freddie Mac and demanded reform. While John McCain was busy trying to reform these collapsing institutions, Barak Obama was too busy running for President. Barak Obama has even hired the ethically challenged former head of Fannie May as one of his closest economic advisors.

Can we really afford to take a chance on Barak Obama? In these times we need the proven experience and determination of John McCain.

Limbaugh was right when he said today that McCain/Palin should not be competing with Obama with attacks on Wall Street and Fannie & Freddie. Instead the focus should be going after Obama and his close ties with these CEO’s. This video is what they need to get that started.
