I dont think the story shifted focus from hackers.
You aren't, but they are. I was looking on in astonishment at the way the story was being played.
Even this article is tilting in that direction right off the starting blocks:
"The disclosure Wednesday raises new questions about the propriety of the Palin administration's use of nongovernment e-mail accounts to conduct state business."
But actually there wasn't anything official there. Its just something they threw in to stir the pot, and shift the focus.
For me, the focus should be on the fact that the Obamaniacs who oppose wire-tapping Al Qaeda have no problem wire-tapping their domestic political opponents. They don't need a warrant; all they need is plausible deniability.
There is no more conversation on this.
