i just love how mccain handles protesters

FANTASTIC!
The crowd excitement and energy were the best I have seen.
Go to the Hillary Clinton Forum to read how excited the Hillary gals are about Sarah Palin.
Rush just told McCain to let Sarah loose...that we are looking at a landslide if he does. ;)

They have been showing this off and on on Foxnews. The chanting breaks out constantly. It is great. Meanwhile, the Obama speech that was on Fox was punctuated by polite applause. The contrast was incredible.
They need to go on the attack re:

I’m glad to hear them hitting Obama hard on the ecomonym, and ties ot Fannie Mae. Also, I love that he brought up Biden’s remark about taxes.
Instead, from what I heard, McCain's "bashing" of the other side was generic. His comments on Cox were specific.
Guess what? Obama will fire Cox on day 1. So why vote for McCain?
I agree both sides had a hand in this meltdown. The biggest part of it was from the Dems, and as usual, some Pubbies went along with the Dems. It's why they got thrown out in 2006, because they became like Dems, corrupt big-spenders. The solution isn't to attack conservatives, the solution is to attack the problem: socialism in our financial structure.
Wonderful, but I think it’s pretty clear that if McCain wins Iowa, he’s already won the election.
(Spurned Iowa Caucus, is fortunately against corn-to-ethanol.)
You’re a big help!
;OD
I personally like Cox. McCain did name names of Dems who got FannieMae money. If you can’t see the difference in voting for Obama or McCain, well.....
It was good that he got into some names of Dems in his speech. He needs to hammer it.
Here is the part of the speech where McCain calls out Obama. McCain needs to name names!
[Senator Obama talks a tough game on the financial markets but the facts tell a different story. He took more money from Fannie and Freddie than any Senator but the Democratic chairman of the committee that regulates them. He put Fannie Mae’s CEO who helped create this disaster in charge of finding his Vice President. Fannie’s former General Counsel is a senior advisor to his campaign. Whose side do you think he is on? When I pushed legislation to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Senator Obama was silent. He didn’t lift a hand to avert this crisis. While the leaders of Fannie and Freddie were lining the pockets of his campaign, they were sowing the seeds of the financial crisis we see today and enriching themselves with millions of dollars in payments. That’s not change, that’s what’s broken in Washington...Senator Obama has never made the kind tough reform we need today. His idea of reform is what his party leaders in Congress order him to do. We tried for bipartisan ethics reform and he walked away from it because his bosses didn’t want real change. I know how to make the change that Senator Obama and this Congress is afraid of. I’ve fought both parties to shake up up Washington and I’m going to do it as President. Those same Congressional leaders who give Senator Obama his marching orders are now saying that this mess isn’t their fault and they aren’t going to take any action on this crisis until after the election. Senator Obama’s own advisers are saying that crisis will benefit him politically. My friends, that is the kind of me-first, country-second politics that are broken in Washington. My opponent sees an economic crisis as a political opportunity instead of a time to lead. Senator Obama isn’t change, he’s part of the problem with Washington.]
Your comment “Obama will fire Cox on day 1. So why vote for McCain?” sounded to me like you believe we get the same regardless of who we vote for—thus no difference??? I didn’t intentionally “misquote” and I apologize-I should have stated what I said in reference to your comment as I did above. I see a big difference although McCain was a default choice for me. Obama terrifies me for our nation.
You misunderstood, and I could have been clearer that I was not referring to myself. But welcome to FR.
Thanks!
