Obama has nailed down the “moral imbecile” demographic.
The whole thing is really fascinating. Abortion is considered (even by most supporters) to be a shameful thing. It's done quietly. Most people don't talk about it. It's far too common, but it sometimes seems invisible. Therefore, a lot of people are not outraged by abortion (40 million dead) because they do not have an enhanced awareness of it.
Special needs is different. Everyone knows someone with special needs. Everyone has someone with special needs in their family. Our schools are full of kids with special needs.
And the Obama platform is basically: THOSE are the people we wish had been killed.
I think there are millions of people who will be outaged -- and they may even start looking at abortion and say "Killing babies seemed so innocent and harmless, I never really cared -- but now I see that these monsters are killing babies!"
