“Therein lies the enormity of the trick the Democrats are playing on the American people.”

I remember this trick. The Soviets did it for nearly 70 years. Control the information the people get and you control the people.

In another universe, 0bama would be in a cheesy sci-fi movie.

Great op-ed. This should be printed up and posted throughout every workplace, every street corner. Obama is the biggest fraud in the history of American politics.

If he wins, and the Congress is held by the Dems, IMHO, things will get so bad (think Carter days) that the Democratic party will be in ruins. If McCain wins, and things continue to go south, they’ll just blame the Republican administration...which is exactly what is happening now. They’re blaming Bush, when the Dems control Congress, were responsible for abuses in Fannie and Freddie, etc.

A small part of me would like to see them descend into the total confusions that would be the Obama administration....but that’s the evil “we told you so” part of me. My saner side says McCain must win or we’re in big trouble, on the defense, economic, and international level.

After Clinton got into office I didn’t think they could come up with a sleazier more unqualified person... Oops! I was wrong!
I can hardly wait to see what they come up with NEXT time!!!

Oh, no, not even close. There is nothing in the history of our country that comes close to what will happen with Obama in control of the Department of Justice, the Treasury, the Pentagon.

Think Weimar republic.

Do you really believe the polls? Get serious guys. Obama is faced with the reality that no one on earth can change and that is 20% of his own party is not going to vote for him no matter what. No one can win the elections with only 80% his party voting for him. It is just impossible. Why the 20% will not vote for him? Because they are either staunch Hillary Clinton supporters or because they will not vote for a black person. Yes, the democrat party is the home of racists from all colors, whites, blacks, and hispanics.

A great failing of President Bush IMHO has been his reluctance, near unwillingness in fact, to fight the congress publically. Congress blocks everything he wants to do then blames him for the inactivity and he says nothing. Given that he doesn't fight back, the public is left to assume the congressional attacks by the likes of Reid and Pelosi and the media that print them must be fair. It hurts Bush and it hurts every other republican.

I don't think McCain will be quite that passive.

Polls are easy to skew and are meaningless.

The poll that counts is on Nov 4th.

I’m a foreigner (Italian) watching this election cycle. One hardly recognizes America, once the world capital of “horse sense”.

Bill Clinton - of all people - got it right, back during the Dem. primary campaign, when he complained that Obama was all symbol and no substance.

For the first time the reality of a candidate’s background is ignored in favor of what he symbolizes. Never has this happened to such an unhinged degree. One cheers, one even cheers wildly for a candidate, but when did Americans ever faint for them or applaud when they sneezed? When would Americans ever forgive any 20 year, donating, marrying and baptizing association with a “Goddam America?” or “the Honkies invented AIDS to kill off the black folk?” When would they forgive any association whatsoever with an unrepentant terrorist? When would they have ever even bothered to consider someone with a hidden past and absolutely no accomplishment fueling such a rapid rise (in Chicago of all places)? When would so many lies have gone unpunished, so many gaffes unscoffed? When in the past would a candidate saying “THIS is the moment the oceans started to recede, etc.” have been taken seriously?

Please, America, don’t go over the edge. This is not just about leftwing / rightwing, liberal or conservative, but runs much deeper.

I had thought that Hillary was that “sleazier more unqualified person”, but compared to the damage that Obama would impose she is an absolute lightweight.

President Bush first priority is to win the war and crush Al Qaeda, he greatly succeeded in doing so despite traitors in Congress who tried every thing under the sun to prevent us from winning but at the end they were defeated. President Bush picks his battles. Also President Bush won two most important fight on domestic politics he cut taxes and he appointed two great Supreme Court Justices. All other battles are really secondary from historic points of view.

The democrats reaped almost zero benefit from their control of Congress. They fail to enact almost nothing from their left wing liberal agenda. In fact on the most important issue of the century, the war on terror, they have failed miserably on every measure to impose their defeatist agenda.
