High praise of tonight's Michigan townhall coming from the enemy MSM.

Although there was also a spirited protest outside the college. I don't think this was necessary. No one really cares about what a mob of Marxist freeloaders think. Their day will come when they finally get their diploma and have to go out into the real world and work for a living.

The town-hall-style meeting was Ms. Palins first time taking questions from voters since she landed on the ticket almost three weeks ago (she has yet to hold a news conference), and it offered a glimpse into how she could handle herself without a script.
No one - not Ronald Reagan, not Bill Clinton - can look good in an MSM interview if the interviewer controls the editing and is hostile. These kind of town-hall meeting are where McCain shines - he's sharp and agile in answering unscripted questions (unlike Obama). It's clear that Palin also is at her best in these forums. Hopefully they'll get plenty of exposure in this kind of format.

She is sharp. I believe there is much, much more to come.

Sounds like Gov Palin enjoys the townhall gatherings as much as Sen McCain. Now if McCain would just listen to Palin and say okay to ANWR.
McCain's call for 10 townhall meetings with Obama would have been great. No teleprompter places Barry at a disadvantage.

I do believe Sen. McCain is getting the idea it is OK to be a conservative and if he is getting the idea, all the credit goes to Gov. Palin.

I was watching her interview on H&C and watched a clip from the MI town hall meeting and noticed something. It seems as if she’s holding back. Am I alone?
Could it be possible that she’s playing into the “low-expectation” expectation and is going to come out swingin’ in the debate with that other guy (I think his name starts with a B)?

I used to work with and date a beautiful woman, who's line was to use here very smart brain, curvasious body and her big brown eyes to get ahead (pun intended). Shortly after we broke up, driving down the freeway, at about 7 pm, here she was riding "shot gun" in my Vice President's car, off to an evening of 'no good" or maybe it was "very good evening". She later became President of a bank in Denver. Bless her heart. The guy between me and the VP was an airline pilot. We were standing in line at a bank party, when he leaned over to her and in more than a "stage whisper' said: "Stick with baby and you will be far**ing through silk."
Heaven knows how Sarah plays these same cards. Love it.
How about them dimples, so to speak! I love her feisty attitude and t-shirt.

A loving mother of five very well fed kids. Love it.

I want one of these for my car's bumper!

I missed her in Sturgis, SD, earlier this summer. Dang! I wonder if the "First (what't the other side of Dude) acutally drives that "Road Machine", as the "First Dude" rides a "Snow Machine" versus a "Snowmobile". Go figure. She could ride my Harley any time she wanted, if you get my drift.

Now here's a "slick guy as a kid"!

Now here's a "slick guy as a big kid"!

Now this has to be the totally worst picture of the prospective world leader that I have ever seek. Funny to friends, scary to the smart ones.

John S McCain is one lucky and hopefully our "First Dude" and our next POTUS.

That's little old me, howling at the moon.

This was a civil article by the Times. Wonder what is causing the sudden outbreak of almost fairness? (Me thinks they want an interview.)

Now if McCain would just listen to Palin and say okay to ANWR My guess is that he will do so, but after the election. They will take a trip up there, she will show him around, and he will be convinced by the weight of her arguments. It will give him cover for having changed his mind.

No, they won’t. Too many of them have trust funds to shield them from the real world indefinitely.

Our Sarah just needs to be out there more. She’s her own best defense against the media/Obama attacks.
