There are others on this board that will disagree with me but yes I do think he does keep his word. The big thing to remember is that McCain will bow to pressure; get enough people to call him and you can change his opinion. He is a political creature.

I almost fell over this year when in July Oregon said that it was going to require proof of citizenship to obtain OR renew a drivers license.
Holy Moly.

I agree that McCain keeps his campaign promises better than most.

Things are going well here, hope they are with you.
It's quiet on the border here, we got lots of new fence, and BP agents. We are expecting the activity to pick up a little when it cools off.

Glad to hear things are going well and the border is slow. I haven’t been down to the border in about 18 months and miss it greatly. My understanding is things have also slowed down in the Tucson area. Hopefully as soon as I can find a job and get my finances in order I can go back down with the PBA group. No longer associated with the MM but I do get updates from my friends who are still working with them.AWB

We've only been out twice in the last six months, will probably start going out occasionally when it cools down. PBA is a good bunch, if I were going in that area I would go with them.
Good luck with the job search.

So you think employers are going to hire the dregs of American society who are unemployed, on drgs or are drunks?
These are the unemployed.

The Federal law has been in place for year. It created Form I-9 when the illegal intruders numbers really started to surge.
The employers are wrong, and they need to be punished.
Reno McDonald’s franchisee got a $1,000,000 One nillion dollars fine for being caught with illegals.
To: SmithL
"What the 9th Circuit has allowed is everyone can enact its own laws regarding immigrant employment, which would create chaos," Weissglass said. What? Like 20 million illegals here, most paid under the table, ISN'T chaotic? What is this guy smoking?

This law is a wonderful thing. We live near Prescott, AZ. As soon as this law was passed the illegals disapeared from the city park, and it was safe for regular people. The car wash businesses are now employing young college students. You know longer see groups of men hanging out on empty lots, etc. The overnight, dramatic change is amazing. Thanks for the realtime input. Let's hope it catches on---these invaders should stay out of our country and get off the US gravy train.

Right...like the kids coming back from Iraq? Better the dregs of American society than the dregs of 3rd world countries like MEXICO. They sure don’t send us their best.
