So the thing is that this poll is just outside of the margin of error for the two candidates.

Washington State -- close to tied. Amazing.

(and no, I'm not holding my breath)

17% undecided? Folks, if you are still on the fence, you will still be on it come voting day. WHAT is to be decided in your mind. You are either voting for total socialism, becoming a communist country, the total taking over of the government by leftist pigs, or your voting for freedom, and the right to continue to make DECISION FOR YOURSELF!!! Not the freaking government making them for you!!!!!!!!!!

Elway Poll ??? First time I heard of it. Looks like like Seattle PP , uhghh I mean PI was poll searching. Ignoring Rasmussen showing Obama +2 which I think is closer to reality. Washington is very much in play, which all the election maps are still showing.

A couple of things I have noticed here in WA. Prior to the RNC Obama bumper stickers seemed to be everywhere. I was always seeing them on the I-5 corridor. Since right after the RNC when I put my McCain/Palin stickers on I have not seen one Obama sticker. And I have been searching hard, hoping to drive by one with my new mobile billboard. But I've seen none.

My neighbor 2-doors down - life long Democrats - took down their Obama yard sign and replaced it with a Clinton/Gore 96 sign. PUMA?

First of all, a sample of 450 REGISTERED voters is nearly useless.

I have warned Freepers that the polls are usually right if you read them correctly and look at their methodology. Polls of 2-3% MOE of LIKELY voters are darn accurate. But the smaller the sample, the higher the MOE. This one is not bad at all.

The Elway poll... what a joke. They had Gov Christine Gregoire up SIXTEEN points; other polls have had the race ranging from tiedto Rossi up six.
