Friday, they prepared for the worst.
Saturday, they watched and waited.
What they saw Sunday was not good.
"We're affected right now, huge," Landry's Restaurants chief Tilman Fertitta said after a hurricane assessment meeting with a dozen of his executives Tuesday.

So Tilman is Republican? Seems I remember him putting the Clinton’s up for a night or two back in the 90s.
Yes, that is the one I have tried as well. Maybe I had to many margaritas before the meal. My take on Landry's, if it doesn't come off of a Sysco truck, well they don't have it. My first rememberance of Mexican food was when I first entered the service back in the mid 60's. San Antonio. I didn't know a taco from an enchilada. $1.25 for a dinner platter. Another quarter for a beer. TexMex. I have tried hundreds of places since. I agree, Cadillac way down on the list in Texas.
Now days, I enjoy regular old El Paso/San Antonio type Mexican once in a while but, I lean towards Tex-Mex and New Mexican flavors. (Pesole, Green/red chile sauces, fresh salsas, Rellenos, barracho/Charro beans, etc) Must stop now, making self very hungry.
Yep..they can. Ironically, my mom and I both face portions of our properties being used for roads (me widening, her adding). 'They say' that if they do take the property we'll be fairly compensated..... definately falls in the 'see to believe' column.
I miss Jimmie Walker’s....
