Of course, it will be played up as “Palin is terrified. She has a lot to hide”. It might make more sense if they addressed the issue vocally, exposed it for what it was , and let the public chew on that for awhile. Instead, it will receive just enough exposure and out-of-context attention to make it look like a desperate move on Palin’s behalf by her own “old-boy network” that she left there.
The Obama media will do this anyway. Instead of feeding the monster, it is much better to kill it with extreme prejudice, and then tell your story yourself rather than as part of a kangeroo court consisting of Obama partisans. Today the McCain campaign released e-mails, correspondence, and other documents showing that Palin fired the guy because he was insubordinate, opposed her spending proposals, and worked against her behind her back. Not that any decent person is going to blame the Palins for also being angry that this cretin wouldn't fire that trooper either.
Don't worry. Gov. Palin's release of numerous emails is just now hitting the airwaves and it plainly shows that the issue was not the goofball trooper but that it was an issue of insubordination by the commissioner who was repeatedly going around her and behind her back to obtain funding for his pet projects. The MSM can whine all they want but the facts will be hit home repeatedly by McCain/Palin. The issue will be reduced to a whimper.
