Why don’t we look at all the money raised by Chuck Schumer and the DSCC from 1/05 through 12/06, the dems raised twice the money we raised from Wall Street, not to mention the FACT that most Greenwich, CT and vicinity Hedge Fund managers have endorsed and contribtuted to Obambi’s campaign.

So Pelosi is going to get together with her party’s big money contributors(the real culprits in this entire mess) on Wall Street to blame everything on Bush and the Republicans.

This is pure corruption...... scapegoating the republicans while the real crooks get off free to contribute millions more for years to come to the Democrap party....

McCain and Palin should take to the stump (and the airwaves!) demanding subpoenas for Gaines, Johnson & Gorelick...if the 0/Biden campaign can spare them.

If she’s going to blame Bush once again she better include Clinton, Obama, Dodd, Andrew Cuomo, and Greenspan for starters. Pelosi is a hypocritical moron! This is a Democratic creation! Police yourself instaed of blaming others!

An effort to control the investigation and news regarding it before the election.

Bush could have defeated this effort early on by cleaning the alphabet agencies and Justice of Rat traitors and initiating this investigation earlier, then announcincg the list of DemoRats indicted right after Nazi Pelosi's press release.

What we really need is a wide-ranging Pelosi probe.

This is an opportunity for Republicans to go on the attack against Pelosi, Obama, and their fellow Democrats in respectable organizations like Fannie Mae. Or it’s a chance for Republicans to hand over both the nation’s economic policy and the election over to the crooks who helped put us in the state we’re in now. If Republicans don’t stand up for what they’re reputed to believe in and defend it, they will get defeated by corrupt idiots and demagogues like Pelosi and Reid.

This woman could be the dumbest in D.C.
And, there are so many dumb-bells in and out of government in D.C., that this is truely an accomplishment. What a collection pathetic no-bodys at the head of the Democratic Party.....
Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, Dubin, Obama, Biden and all the fringe idiots that keep us in humor. And, that’s without mentioning the alumni...Kennedy, Kerry, McCain, McCain 2, Gore, Edwards.

Sick. Of. This. Crap.

This kangaroo courts which focus solely on the “administration’s role” need to be countered with some real legal action taken by the executive branch against Congress.

Why is Congress never being probed for THEIR role? Why are two mortgage bigwigs who are members of the Obama economic advisory team not being probed? Why is congressional action - or failure to act - not being probed?

Someone needs to throw this crap back in their faces.

Testimony...

They need to force Rangel, Dodd, Obama, VP vetter Jim Johnson (CEO of Fannie Mae) to testify... if not, this is just a Democrat-media circus to go after the innocent, shoot the wounded and leave the guilty parties off scot-free.

Yeah, when all the Demagogue scum are brought in to testify it might mean something — all the corrupt fools like Dodd and Obama and all their pals who blocked all reforms while loading up on campaign contributions.

To: Sub-Driver; All

President Bush needs to come out and make the following statements, directly:

Mrs. Pelosi’s recent statements on the financial crisis are a national political campaign smokescreen.

The center of the foundation of the current financial crisis is the mismanagement of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

If Mrs. Pelosi was serious about getting to the bottom of things, it is Congress that would have to investigate itself, because it is Congress that has direct primary responsibility over Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae; it is Congress that repeatedly failed to reign-in the financial insecurity of Freddie and Fannie, permitting them to be the enablers - the taxpayer obligated final risk takers that enabled the real estate asset bubble at the heart of the mess.

Without the institutional size, and over stretched liability, permitted to Freddie and Fannie by a negligent Congress, the means to prop up the volume of mortgages required for the real estate bubble did not exist.

Without that bubble, which could not have taken place without the sloppy role of Freddie and Fannie, the sub-prime crisis, the resulting credit crisis and the financial problems that followed, would not have been able to develop.

It is unlikely that the U.S. Treasury would now be in the position of picking up the financial pieces created by successive Congresses that took their campaign money from Freddie and Fannie and refused to provide sufficient oversight of them in a timely fashion.

Leaving the problems to fester, in spite of repeated warnings, for years.

Mrs. Pelosi needs to resign so that responsible Congressional leaders can authorize the investigation of their own houses.

If McPalin want to take on corruption, now is the time to start. Blast the Demoncraps hard right now. These hearings are all about keeping smoke in the air until the election. They know if they are ever held they will be in trouble.
