A reversal of a trend is a continuation of a trend. Got that? It’s essential that we understand these fine points of global warming.

Arctic sea ice is useless, if I can’t put it in a rocks glass with some JD in it (salty Jack bad) what good is it?
Did this have anything to do with the underwater volcanoes spewing molten lava into the water? I’d imagine that would warm the artic up a few degrees.
29 years is certainly long enough to make sweeping generalizations about long-term climate changes. The earth is what, 6000 years old? 29 years is almost 1/2 of one percent of the history of the earth.
Oh, wait, we're talking millions of years, with evidence of tropical plants in Antarctica and glaciers covering what is now Chicago. Yeah, 29 years is plenty of time.

Another, easier way to look at this: The artic ice was 150,000 square miles larger than last year. Do the math.

Last year's sea ice minimum was WAY below the expected minimum based on projected trends and models before last year. This year's minimum came quite close to the beyond-expectations minimum of last year. So now there's two years in a row of an Arctic sea ice minimum well below the projected decline trend.
Watching the Dow Jones Average the last few days, let's see: it was down ~500, up ~190, down ~450, and now it's currently up 25. Ah, I see the Dow Jones trend is reversing!
Beyond a shadow of a doubt -- no, it doesn't.
Yes, but it can't be phrased like that - doesn't fit the agenda.
