When - and if he returns - he'll be as outspoken as ever. He was called a troll, because he defends his friends. RWT knows that we might not be 'conservative' enough for FR, we don't judge homosexuals, we judge them for what they do. Wife and I know gays, and they are supporting McCain, because they are businesspeople. They know that Obama will raise taxes.
I find I can say almost anything on FR as long as I'm polite and dispassionate. I'll bet RWT just needs to learn that skill. He's remarkably well informed and articulate for such a youngling, but it's a lot to expect that he has polished debating skills as well!
Here’s what McCain needs to point out.
Obama’s promised to raise social security taxes on wealthier taxpayers.
On the one hand, he takes credit for “extending the life” of social security.
On the other hand, when he’s asked how he’s going to pay for all his new spending programs, he cites 3 streams of new income...INCLUDING the payroll tax hike.
How can he do this? We know the answer. The new payroll taxes will go into the social security “lockbox”, dutifully showing extended life of the system. Then Congress and Obama will “borrow” those funds, spend it on new programs, and put an IOU in the SSA account. The beauty of it is that it won’t even increase the deficit!
It’s like magic spending. And the MSM will pretend it’s real, keeping the public in the dark.
