Indeed! How does one become somewhat decisive?

eating in the Time's Deep Liberal Lunchroom has affected David's mental processes and he is breaking down, day-by-day.

He has always been a liberal on social issues, even pre-NYT. I gather you observe that the condition has metastasized to other areas of policy.

Yes. David Brooks has obviously gone over the edge.

"If you wanted someone to destroy a corrupt establishment, she’d be your woman."

Yes, David, that's exactly what I want--someone who will destroy a corrupt establishment in the Federal Government, in the self-serving Propaganda Machine that passes for a Free Press, and in the army of burocrats that have made the Federal Government a sclerotic Frankenstein's Monster.

This corruption--including a corrupt Press that misinforms, disinforms, and fails to inform the electorate, a truthfully informed electorate being essential to a representative government--is one of the most dangerous events in the history of the United States.

Think about it. Destruction of this corruption is exactly what is needed.

This corruption is a cancer. It must be stopped.

...but you’ve gained 10,000 people attending your rallies and have pulled ahead in critical states, you don’t worry about it.

David Gergen is the Liberal Republican who is trotted out by the media to trash Conservative policies. His opinions are considered cogent because he has never changed his party affiliation.

Who is David Brooks? Is he the guy that came “out” and wrote that Anita Hill book?

That was the sexually (and apparently politically) confused David Brock.

“Who is David Brooks?”

“Brooks is David Gergen lite.”

Now we who David Brooks is ... Who is David Gergen?

Gergen is Brooks heavy.

Brooks is David Gergen lite.

I don't know where PBS finds these "conservatives". A real conservative would make them wet their drawers.

Brooks is supporting Hussein because he does not want the black guy to lose. (he has said as much in other columns)

Its very simple, he is a liberal Republican wanting approval from the MSM/DNC/Hollywood/Academia machine.

If David Brooks were alive in 1500-1600 England he would be married to Maureen Dowdy for aristocratic purposes while loving a girl from fly-over country. If he was about to be found out and shamed by society (NY SLIMES) he would denouce his country girl and leave her begging on the streets. Just the kinda guy he reminds me of. Just can not shake his NE elitism.

“Who is David Brooks? Is he the guy that came “out” and wrote that Anita Hill book?”

No, that was David Brock, but it is almost as bad. Brooks is a writer who wrote for the Weekly Standard and who was selected by the New York Times as their token conservative writer. I guess the culture of the NYT has won him over.

Memo to Mr Brooks.
As Sarah Palin said, we are not seeking your good graces or approval. We don't come seeking, or needing your approval
We are out to win, and to change things in Washington. We are supporting McCain/Palin in order to preserve our freedoms and to take our country back.

We see the value of your printed opinions as lining for the bottom or our dogs kennel.

But the constructive act of governance is another matter. She has not been engaged in national issues, does not have a repertoire of historic patterns and, like President Bush, she seems to compensate for her lack of experience with brashness and excessive decisiveness.”
Ah-ha, so that's where it went.... David Brooks ate my Thesaurus!

“The idea that ‘the people’ will take on and destroy ‘the establishment’ is a utopian fantasy that corrupted the left before it corrupted the right.

If it’s reached the point where the “establishment” no longer acknowledges the left or right, what makes the middle
think it is going to listen to them?

It must be the New York Times is getting ready to make another massive staff cut and Brooks is grasping to protect his job in this tanking company.

Sorry, David, it won't work. The NYT is going down - all of it, all the way!
