This is a flat out admission that he broke the law.

Why is he not being prosecuted?

"This is a flat out admission that he broke the law."

"Why is he not being prosecuted?"

Probably because the federal prosecutors are way to busy looking the other way. I am sure they don't want to offend any of the democrats.

Just jumped from a healthy disdain and lack of admiration for obama to outright disgust.

This HOGWASH of words regarding his talks and intentions with Iraq IS BULLSHIT.

HE ABSOLUTELY undermined the current ADMINISTRATION, ATTEMPTING TO DIMINISH IT IN FROMT OF A FOREIGN LEADER BY ATTEMPTING TO THWART CURRENT POLICY ......

this is AGAINST THE LAW!!!

He is NOT our PRESIDENT and does NOT have the AUTHORITY ( only the arrogance ) to do this dispicable crap!!!

He is a disgrace!

Why is he not being prosecuted?

Oh let me count the ways...

1) Bush doesn't care about the rule of law. Sorry to say it but its true. There are Senators and members of the press (see Rockefeller, Kennedy, Kerry, Pelosi & Pinch & the NYT) that have committed out and out treason. Bush could care less!

2) He's a Democrap. Constitution is something they do to relave themselves, not follow.

3) He is not a Republican, so he can break laws with unbrideled impunity. Its the Senates Alfred E. Newman version of justice, What Me Worry...unless your a Republican tapping your toes while taking a Constitution, then all bets are off)

4) Just like everything else, the 3 monkeys of the media hear no, See no and speak no evil aren't going to see this nearly as huge as the fact Sarah Palin once spit on spanked her kids in a reckless show of force and abuse!

Because the Republicans never do a thing about it, that’s why.

Logan’s a dead letter. If we haven’t prosecuted Jimmy Carter by now, we’re not doing anybody.

Bill Clinton sold our military info to the Chinese and was never prosecuted.

John Kerry met with the Viet Cong govt to negotiate a peace settlement without the permission of the U.S. govt. He was never prosecuted.

In fact, Adam Gadahn is the first person charged with treason by the U.S. govt in over 50 years. Why is that? Why is our govt so slow to move on these open and shut overt cases of treason?

Exactly! Its time for Bush to step up to the plate and follow the law. And that includes requiring Onada to provide valid proof of citizenship. If Bush fails to do his duty I really do hope he never uses the term “rule of law” again.

Because the Logan Act only applies to US citizens.

Why is he not being prosecuted?

Because only one person has ever been indicted under the Logan Act, and that was approximately 205 years ago.

As a political matter, prosecution is not required at all -- it is political dynamite simply to point to Obama's actions, his denial of them, and the fact that he's lying in his denial.
