Hey, I was a paperboy and there is a lot more accountability and discipline required to be a paperboy than to be a community organizer, or an elected official.
Has Obama ever had a real JOB?
I presume you're referring to Keith Olbermann. ;-)
funny thing about the fivethirtyeight website is that I read a real lefty blog here in Miami and these guys have been pushing fivethirtyeight as the only reliable site for polling data.
“a very close follow-up reason is to watch the fall-out, the melt-down, the anguish, the despair, the incredulous misery, the ranting and wailing and howling frenzy of the liberals. The gnashing of teeth. The rending of clothes. So sweet, their tears. All that.” A_perfect_lady
WOW! You are perfect! Love your post!!!! So sweet their tears! LOL!!!
Yes, it’s been a long time since the losing side was able to accept the winner in a presidential election. Campaigns are, by their nature, divisive, since they’re based on issues we disagree about. But they shouldn’t be war by other means. Some of the comments on this board about post-election gloating make me wonder whether it’s becoming that way. To quote Churchill, we should be magnanimous in victory.
5 Hours Later I was giddy but reserved after realizing we dodged the John Kerry Bullet.
This year we should be grateful for the God Send called Sara Palin.
Yeah, I was paperboy also and you are correct and NO he hasn’t had a real job, just like bro Jesse Jackson and all the other agitators.
538.com also foresees that a McPalin landslide (17% probability)
is 3 times as likely as an Obiden landslide (less than 6 %).

Yup, lefty dweebs absoultely thwear by that site. Now the Princeton election consortium seems to be where they’ll make thier last stand from reality, lol.
Most people see McCain as a maverick and don’t as closely relate him to Bush as they do other Republicans.
The actual Bush haters are hard core liberals that will vote Obama no matter what.
Many others, including me are disappointed with President Bush, but I by no means hate him. My feelings about President Bush have nothing to do with my voting for McCain/Palin. I am disappointed that he would not stand up to the liberals for his policies and actions. I am disappointed that he did not as I see it “take charge” in the War on Terror and in many ways tried to make it a PC war to placate the dems. I am disappointed that he does not see the truth about the border issues (he is not alone in that unfortunately). I do give full credit to President Bush for leading us out of the darkness of September 11th, and for staying on top of terrorism so that we have not had a major attack since that day. I think President Bush has overall been a decent President but I think he had the opportunity to be a great one and that is the basis of most of my disappointment.
I don’t know if McCain will be a great President, I do not agree with McCain on some issues, especially on the border issues. The truth is I am convinced Obama as President would be the worst thing that could happen to us. He is wrong for the military, he is wrong for conservatives, and wrong for this country. I think many see a vote for McCain as a vote to save this country from Obama and his ilk.
It's time to clean house. The red states can easily reject the blue states and re-create the America of our founding fathers. This "renewed" America would have all or the vast majority of the oil, agriculture manufacturing, and nuclear weapons, and the "old" Amerrika would be impotent to stop the change because of their pledge to non-violence (there is nothing that they will go to war over). They can talk all they want, and well sit down with them any time they want, but it will simply go in one ear and out the other.
Since old Amerrika punitively taxes those who work hard and succeed, and most of them will immigrate to renewed America, their governmental coffers will soon be empty, causing them to revert to the third world status championed by their political idols. Well help hasten that result by gladly allowing all the able bodied who want to live on welfare to cross the border into the adjacent old Amerrika. In just a few years, most of the blue states will be begging to be allowed to join renewed America. Any state from old Amerrika can join only if they purge themselves of the Communists, anarchists, and other America haters.
Political Correctness will no longer rule, and hard work will be rewarded. Some may call this callous and uncaring, but it is the exact same philosophy as AA and other successful addition fighting organizations. Amerrika is addicted to the money taken from the hard working and given to the lazy and ungrateful. This has to be broken, and those who will be affect by being cut off will bellow and scream, but, if I may borrow a quote from my parents, If you put half the effort you use to get out of work into working, youd be a millionaire.
Popcorn party!!!! Sounds like a great idea!!! I will go out and get some more popcorn and watch the numbers goes up for McCain/Palin!!!
There is a graphic on the lower right side with poll detail. Basically this takes all the polls taken in each state and determines whether it is safe, likely, or lean Dem or GOP. There are a lot of Safe GOP states, but the only safe Dem states are: RI, DC, and VT. Illinois, California, MASS! are all Likely Dem, among others. If this keeps up, Cali and NY will be the new swing states.
Why was fivethirtyeight.com characterized as “left”? Is that just an opinion or is there some evidence behind that characterization?
There are actually fifty red states and about twenty bright blue cities. The problem seems to be city-dwellers thinking they need to rewrite Federal law to mirror what exists in their dense urban areas. If they ever come to understand that the President doesn't need to talk and act like the local thug boss, the Democrats are in very big trouble.
Why are they characterized as “left”? Because in my post I indicated ABC News did a segment on them a few weeks back. Certainly you would have to agree that if Charlie Gibson’s network pays attention to a pollster, it must be one they agree with......
It is,oops, was, a poll often cited over at DU.
Yes. The lamentations of the women. I forgot about the lamentations of the women. I like lamentations.
