I wish he had been a little more specific about that. But I gather that the bottom line is that Obama is not Christian. He is anti-Christian. Martin Luther King tried to bring blacks and white together. Obama and his fellow race baiters try to get them fighting each other.
The politics of resentment are fundamentally incompatible with Christianity.
I really believe he is hearing from the Spirit of God!

Manning’s broadcasts have been mentioned on the Sean Hannity show and (to a lesser extent) Rush Limbaugh.
Racist:
1. He declared Obama to be “a pimp” because of the Obama girl video, and repeatedly referred to the fact that the girl is white, as if it somehow made things much worse. Never mind that the video was not made by Obama or anyone associated with him.
2. He’s referred to Obama as “trash” because his mother is a white woman. In fact, he referred to Obama’s mom as a “trashy white woman” and sad Obama’s father was “a-whoring” when he married her.

3. In a message quoted on the Limbaugh show (see below) he made an issue of Obama giving money to white businesses during his campaign, and said blacks who had supported or interviewed Obama without getting cash had “given it up for free.”

That's how I see him. I had cold chills up my back while he was speaking because he seemed to almost ready to panic but was controlling it. He's 100% right on the issue and is scared to death of Obama and what he stands for.

My mom and I have always said...we wanted to accept him and his saying of Change....but there is something about Obama that is really scarey..

I’m posting this to some of you for informational purposes; to others because you seem to be ready to make this guy a hero.
Before you all decide to nominate this guy Manning for a Nobel Prize or something, you might want to take a look at post 23. No conservative should be giving this punk any approval. Sometimes the enemy of our enemy is still a putz.
He may not speak the Christian lingo that you’re accustomed to hearing, but before his congregation I bet he is quite effective.
He seems to be willing to do quite a lot of research for a man of his generation and is willing to put himself on the line. Quite frankly, I enjoy the passion and fire that he places in his sermons and feel that he speaks(yells) straight from his heart.
Rev. Manning is a compelling pastor and I plan to stop in and listen to some of his “fire & brimstone” some Sunday morning, if I find myself in NYC. I guarantee you that no one falls asleep sittin in the ATlah curch. He would likely smack you upside the head if you did.
Good grief...I showed you...*proved* to you that the man goes off on rants based on nothing but hate for his target, and you praise him as a preacher? Have you missed the fact that a preacher is supposed to be working for the one who called Himself “The Truth?”

Again, Atlah is in Harlem and he delivers a message that registers with that demographic in a very effective fashion. He does go overboard with the name-calling, sure, but that is what retains his audience. He is an agent of change and inspiration within his community and an enabler for Black success, rather than a victimizer.
I suggest that you take a look at the Atlah Ministries website. See the stated missions such as “Gettysburg, the Nile River, and the Witch Doctor. Pastor Manning is the polar opposite of Reverend Wright, Jesse Jackson and the litany of modern day race baiters. He has an enlightening viewpoint within the Black community. That is the heart of the issue of why he despises Obama and his ilk. (And yes, Manning has a traditional prejudice regarding inter-racial pre-marital sex and he is forthcoming in his explanation of this viewpoint.)
What he's using to (as you so quaintly put it) "retain his audience" is racist insults and calling women whores simply because they have a connection to someone he disagrees with. Paul described this in 2 Timothy 4:3--"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear."
If a white preacher was calling Obama an N-word and saying his Mom was trash because she lowered herself to have sex with a black man because it kept his church full, would you approve of it the way you approve of Manning?

If his problem was the pre-marital part, he wouldn't be talking about race.
Once again, what part of the Gospel makes it OK to sling racist insults and call people trash based solely on their parentage? Show me a verse that justifies Manning's behavior.
