as someone who paid out 48,000 dollars per year from 1995 till 2007 and all the plane tickets, medical bills, braces, insurance and today is paying for two colleges ...one private and one public and all after my ex-wife left me for a old fat guy who makes at a million a year I can tell you that divorce and child support is not as simple as you think
it is mostly pure unaccounted for alimony...
and what the wife did good or bad has nothing to do with it...she will get the kids unless she doesn’t want them in 99% of cases
women who don’t need it get too much and women who do need don’t get enough

I did the right thing, in the end I got the eldest daughter the second she could leave, the younger loves living in an environment of no structure
ex-wife is now divorced again and dates boys 25 years younger than her
men should be very very careful especially if they come into it with high earning potential
women will use children against you....even good women will find that weapon hard to resist..
Most of the waifs I know in the black community are raised by their grandmothers. Cure "black attitude" and you have a chance at successful black culture. Not gonna happen, though.
Was that child support only or plus spousal support? Florida must have different rules on child support than Washington. Even my friend's ex-husband was required to only pay 12,000 a year in CS and he was making very good money at the time. And once he lost his job, he stopped paying. Washington state has tables that are based on both the wife's and husband's income. They top off at about 7K per month combined, and after that it's up to the judge's discretion. If I was received child support in other states, I'd get almost double what I get here.
