This is one “Bama Babe” (girl from Alabama, for you Yankees), who will be so happy to see this election done and dusted so I no longer have to hear O-bama, NO-bama, etc.
He gives GRITS terrible nightmares about cross contamination.

Oh! How I love them; them wonderful grits!
In every life and time they just so fine fits.
They got the makings of a firm constitution,
No matter the problems, grits are the solution.

Like the paste on paper that’s stuck on a wall,
Grits hold it all together, yep, it’s true y’all.
Strength like case hardened steel, that’s them,
Can lift you up high or leave you flat on a whim.

Tender and sweet like the blooming magnolia,
What!? Ain’t you heard a word I’ve told ya?
I ain’t talkin’ about the kind for your mouth,
I’m talking ‘bout Girls Raised In The South!

They can ride bareback faster than the wind,
Then strap on a gown that’ll make your head spin.
They can melt a brute’s heart with those “me too eyes”,
And they don’t much cotton to cheaters and lies.

Them kissable lips can “make it better again”
Or shred a man’s ego ‘til it’s razor thin.
Whatever you do, don’t you be such a fool
To believe for minute, that charm ain’t a tool.

Without ’em intolerable dull lives we’d lead,
It sure ain‘t a pleasant thought, no indeed.
Even with twice the huntin’ and fishin’ time,
I won’t part with my grits, I like ’em just fine!

I'm another Bama Girl who hates hearing my favorite nickname for our great state mixed up with his sorry muslim name. I especially hate seeing the Alobama bumper stickers! I've only seen it on two different vehicles, but it makes me SICK! I didn't think I could want anyone to lose an election more than Kerry in '04, boy was I ever wrong!
