She’s not a foot shorter than PIAPS. Note the difference in that shot too.
Yes, it certainly looks like they did it on purpose, especially coupled with the interview that was a clear at “gotcha”.
I saw part of an interview of Bill O’Reily on 60 Minutes? Anyway, O’Reily is usually shown in a head shot but they panned out over and over to make him look very ungainly. I don’t know his real size, but in the interview he looked about 6’6” but only 180 lbs.
This is the best they can do? How desperate are they?
The best (or worst) example of camera angle belittlement is in the 3rd part of the interview here on RealClearPolitics.

Check out mins 4:25-4:32.
UNbelievable
They could make her look better than that if they wanted to. A lot of famous Hollywood actors/actresses are very short. Tom Cruise for one. But you'd never know because of camera angles and perspective.
You got it.
Guy looked like a caricature of Dana Carvey’s Church Lady.
Can you imagine the hatred that one has to marshal to get that look in the presence of a decent and beautiful woman?
Does a bear sh*t in the woods? It’s ABSeeDNC. Of course they did.
This photo provides a vivid example of what this post is about. ABC used the exact same technique with Gibson/Palin..
I can’t wait for Nov 4th.
BINGO! I thought of Darth Vader versus Leia immediately. The camera effects are even more like scenes in which Vader jumps out and attacks Luke, and Vader appears easily twice his size.
ABC's Charles Gibson talks to Republican Vice Presidential nominee Governor Sarah Palin (L) in Wasilla, Alaska September 11, 2008 during an interview. Palin took a hard line on the crisis in Georgia on Thursday, and said the United States would be obliged to defend it from another Russian invasion if the former Soviet republic joins NATO. They succeeded in making Charlie Gibson look small.
They succeeded in making Charlie Gibson look small.
ABC had to use camera angles to make Charlie look larger. There were not enough phone books to boost his childish self up to adult height.
What a surprise. Media bias? I’m shocked...
They did their best to belittle her. The media are simply Democrats operatives and should be treated a such. Maybe she can become President and order the FCC to cancel their broadcast licenses and White house press credentials. Turnabout is fair play.
