That’s exactly what i thought the first time i heard him utter that, and every subsequent time I heard that clip played, too. The excuses for his ineptitude dont fly.

Obama is a charismatic, compelling figure. His appeal is undeniable, as long as he is presented in a multi-million dollar staged setting with teleprompters and a prepared speech.

Even this article offers the caveat that perhaps the Obama campaign did not realize why McCain doesn’t type on a keyboard.
That might be why FNC - if true they haven’t covered it - hasn’t made the big point about this that the internet media has. They’re trying hard to be fair and balanced, remember? They might make more of it if they thought this was malice and not fecklessness by the Obama campaign.
And even if it isn’t on their website, I’m not sure - are you? - that it hasn’t been mentioned. Did Hannity use it on Hannity and Colmes? Did Brit Hume use it on his “from the Grapevine” segment?
I don’t know. Have been too busy and other things lately to catch everything.
As for the MSM, well, we KNOW why THEY ignored it.
They may not be covering the fact that Obama is tanking, but people aren’t stupid. Even a five year-old can figure out that a successful campaign doesn’t need four new starts, and the MSM is terrified of creating a runaway train effect. If they mention the truth, he’s done.
Meanwhile we have two months to go, and I suspect Obama’s meltdown will continue, staff will be thrown under the bus, and his tactics will grow more desperate. As will the MSM. I can’t wait ‘til election night to see the stricken faces, the barely repressed rage. More balloons hitting Andrea Mitchell in the face. Ah, sweet revenge.
What a difference a teleprompter makes. Obama has always been about illusion -- Hollywood style. Americans recognize that without a script, the actor is nothing.
Absolutely correct. The media created an illusion of ‘mojo’, or any other descriptive word for phenomenon one might want to use. Empty suit doesn’t even begin to describe lil O.

Not positive but I could not find on the Sean Hannity or Fox news websites. When I do Google search for: “Obama ad McCain keyboard” I do not find hits for Fox or the alphabet networks.
This seems to be primarily just covered by National Review, Huffington, Boston Globe, Minneapolis Star Tribune, AOL. Strange.
If anyone finds that mojo, please don’t tell the Chicago political machine.

So is funny or sad that the Canadian press carries this, but the major media outlets in the states is virtually silent on the subject.
