Polls, polls, polls ... sheesh, every day there's a batch of new polls. Does anyone know a real average of what's going on or does such a thing even exist? In other words, if the election were held today who do the polls say would have the best chance of winning?
To: Red Steel
Wow! Obama only up by 3 in NJ. He’s in trouble. I’m not sure this idiot can recover.
To: divine_moment_of_facts
New Jerksey errr.. Jersey Marxist Poll. That’s a good one.

In which important states is McCain most vulnerable where we may be able to help increase his poll numbers?

Don't follow the bumps, follow THE TRENDS. It's the trends that have the Obama Campign in complete freak-out mode right now, throwing away EVERYTHING that Obama has said he stood for, to Push this week's New, Newest, New meme of "McCAIN LIES!!, PALIN LIES!!!, REPUBLICNS LIE!! EVERYBODY LIES!!" From Lib-run 538.com:

And now you know why the democrats have hit the "PANIC!!" button...

We need Colorado to wake up from their trance.
If we secure VA, CO, NV, OH, and FL. We win.

Look at NJ, and remember that Obama usually “votes” about 3.25 to 3.75 percent worse than he “polls.”
There will be plenty of NJ voters who would never tell a pollster that they are voting against Obama, but then, when the curtain closes, Obama gets dropped from the ballot faster than Tony Soprano dropped Big Pussy.

that's quite a downward trend. I think the obama-bubble has burst and, hopefully, this path will continue.
Hard to believe that only a few weeks ago it looked pretty bleak for McCain.
