Michigan is beautiful in the autumn...my favorite time of year here. It’s like three or four regions of the U.S. wrapped into one. A sunset on Lake Michigan is breathtaking.
Don’t put it off just because of Granny, oh, and just give Detroit a wide berth, then you’ll be fine.
Agreed. There’s SO much more to Michigan than unions, car manufacturers, and Detroilet.
Come over to the West Side. It’s gorgeous. And so is Up North.
When I still lived there I would fish for salmon on the pier at Oscoda.
We would start fishing in the darkness and watch the sun rise on Lake Huron. That sight and the sound of the waves has never been equaled any where I have been in the world.
I wish I could go back but Michigan is such a political and financial mess. Communism writ small.
