You're two weeks too late, Eleanor.
And if you try to trash Palin for being a Christian, then it's open season on Barack "my Muslim Faith" Hussein Obama.
Checkmate.
Cheers!

I usually look on Eleanor Clift as an MSM twit but at the end of article, I think she grasps it. Would that rest of the MSM did the same:
"Democrats looking for equivalency between the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's incendiary remarks and video clips of Palin's exhorting prayer for an Alaskan gas pipeline should understand that the voters who will decide this election do not see something alien. They see in her themselves, or their next-door neighbor, a quality that could defy traditional polling."
Indeed. Sarah is NO Jeremiah Wright! She's your typical all-American girl!

When the Palin pick was first announced, Clift (on The McLaughlin Group) proclaimed the pick was greeted with laughter in the newsrooms.
Doesn’t sound like they (or Eleanor) are laughing now, does it?

Some of the bounce McCain is enjoying is from people in the middle who are intrigued by Palin, but once they hear from the other side, they may move back. The net effect of the conventions is to pull together the bases of each party, says Keeter. "Then we'll have the big argument." I don't they will be going back to the Marxist.

Now that the obvious naked character assassination campaign by the media back-fired, we get the second wave, which although seemingly fair, attempts to peel off independents through simple guilt by association. Thank you Eleanor for this “her biggest supporters are those scary Christians” piece. Apparently Newsweek has wised up that people will not take kindly to obvious unfair attacks. For this this to be a fair article, it would have mentioned something other than “the religious right”. It’s a hit piece in disguise. We all know where Eleanor Clift is on the political spectrum.

You're two weeks too late, Eleanor. Especially after all the mud and vitriol has been already slung. Going to a "reasonable" approach now makes you look even more hypocritical. The DIMs "first impression" was a total disaster and it cannot be put back into the bottle.

Hey, beeyotch. It's OVER.
I summarized everything which was in your article here, before you did.
And the real reason Palin energizes Americans is the picture at the bottom of that article.
Cheers!

Who is listening to Barry? Today, he produced ANOTHER gaffe, accusing Sarah of lying about her travel to Iraq when she did NOTHING of the sort! Every day Barack Obama steps on his own message. He can't run his own campaign and yet he wants the voters to hand him the keys to the country? Uh huh!

They were convinced that McCain would settle on one of his buddies, Tom Ridge or Joe Lieberman, men whose pro-choice views render them unworthy contenders from the Christian-right perspective. They didn't know much about Palin, but the fact she wasn't Ridge or Lieberman was enough to make them cheer. Bullsh!t, Eleanor. Just because you were ignorant, don't assume everybody else was, too.
I was at the New York State Fair when the news leaked. About 3 minutes later, I was talking to the people in the Right to Life booth in the exhibition hall. They knew all about Sarah Palin, about Trig, and about her pro-Life bona fides. They were thrilled!

Is there ANYBODY that Eleanor “Pickle Puss” Clift actually likes? She’s such a sweet, lovely, endearing woman. Her voice is like music. From an out of tune screechy violin.
She is SOooooo envious of Sarah Palin. She hates her.
