The liberal media is in full throat once again. Turner Network Movies is rebroadcasting Dr. Strangelove, the unlovely and extremely wealthy Whoopie Goldberg is asking the nominee if she'll be a slave "again," Mr. and Mrs. Greenspan are getting in their tandem anti-McCain jabs, one reinforcing the other, and so on. All the networks but Fox are unabashedly pro B.O. Plenty.

They'll keep telling their lies, hoping voters will believe them for another 52 days. They're pulling out all the stops this time. No lie is too big, no hypocrisy too outrageous, no disrespect for honest middle Americans too elitist and cynical. If they lose this one McCain appointees to the Supreme Court will fix it so they can't impose totalitarian rule on the rest of us. And we must see that they lose.

During tonights 60’s music telethon on PBS (to raise money for PBS coffers), Vicki Lawrence from the old “Carol Burnett” TV show appeared as her character from “Mama’s Family.”

While in character, she urged people to send in money for PBS, and as her face went off camera, she quickly came back in front of the lense and wispered,
“You can put lipstick on a jerk, it’s still a jerk.”

I wanted to smash the TV.
