'We can either settle for the world as it is or ... we can fight ... for the world as it should be,' Michelle Obama said.
CINCINNATI - "I come here today as a Christian,'' Michelle Obama said yesterday to a standing ovation at a convention of mostly black Baptists. She appealed not only for their prayers but for their votes for her husband.
"This election is going to change the world,'' she said. "This election will determine the course of an entire generation. Just think about that.
"I know that no one here wants to look back and think, 'Wouldn't that have been great?'" she said. "I don't want to think about what might have been. I want to look back and think, 'We did it. We really did it, and we did it together.'''
The nonprofit National Baptist Convention USA Inc. is not permitted to endorse a candidate, but there was no doubt that the crowd of about 4,700 watching her speech in the convention center ballroom and in an overflow room receiving a video feed was firmly behind Sen. Barack Obama.

Never in my entire life, have I met a Christian, who carries an image of the Hindu “Monkey god” in his pocket for good luck. Obama says he does, and he was going to get a gold plated “Monkey god” the day before the Democratic Convention.

Muslims do not recognize birthdays. Obama is not American in his thinking.

Are Ohio Baptists now in to killing ones own offspring?
Any person or faith that can support a person like Obama is fake.

Do they meet secretly - or maybe ‘underground’ with Muslims? When she hangs with Louis Farrakhan’s wife; is she a ‘Christian’? Is Black Liberation Theology ‘Christian’. . .or Marxism with it’s own messiah?

I hate to say it but I disagree ricks. It seems that abortion is a big blind spot for church going blacks. A few months ago I went to my sister’s church and was reading a newsletter that was put out. It was pumping up Obama and trashing all Republicans. Abortion didn’t even factor. If Barack had run a clean campaign and wasn’t such a racist, marxist and proponent of infanticide I would feel pride but I can’t. I’m not proud of the jailed drug dealers and murderers who share my skin color so why should I feel pride for Obama.

Where is the truth on Michelle-Amorosa’s travel plans on 9/11? One report says she was spending time with the kids at their school, and others say she was with a women’s group on Ohio, and others say she was traveling for the campaign. Which is it?

From the
BBC...many Muslims do not believe in celebrating birthdays or death anniversaries because there is no historical evidence that the Prophet Muhammad ever did this.

Please add a pic of Amorosa so you have a trifecta of bitterness.

"a convention of mostly black Baptists. She appealed not only for their prayers but for their votes for her husband. "
ALERT! ALERT! ALERT!
Michelle Ahnt Esta Obama is asking God to intervene in politics.
Quick! Somebody call Charlie Gibson, immediately.
While you're at it, call the IRS and have this "church" investigated for taking a tax exemption while mixing religion with politics. Oh Lawd!
But, "Ahnt Esta", you are preaching to the choir, your entire audience is probably voting for your husband anyway. Or, are you asking them to pray that other people will vote for him?
Last I heard, God gave us free will...and we'll vote for whomever we please...God ain't gonna interfere. God's part is, he gave us the intelligence to see through lies like Barry's con-job and then we make our own decisions.
After McCain/Palin win, can't you just hear Michelle when she steps up to congratulate McCain, she'll say, "John, You a HEATHEN!"

The National Baptist Convention is a Convention of mostly black Baptists in the same fashion that the Klu Klux Klan is a convention of mostly white Baptists.
To: Paperdoll
Yes, black Baptist, in our Baptist church we are not allowed to hold political rallys. Only in Black churches and ONLY if you’re a Dem.
One day...one day there will be an accounting...

"Martin Luther King was a member of this organization when he first started out,'' she said. "This is the same organization that saw Dr. King through his struggles in the 1960s.
The hopes and fears of the founders of this convention are seeing those dreams come true in Barack Obama.'' Wasn't MLK a Repubican?
